Description:
Performs a variety of equipment operating and kitting duties such as assembling, filling, cleaning, inspecting, labeling, packaging, etc. to make and process products to meet high quality specifications following prescribed procedures. Working from verbal and written instructions. May use a variety of equipment including, scales, bottle filler, Peristaltic/Digistaltic pumps, sealers, torquer and other related supplies. May use measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specified tolerance. Makes supervisor aware of quality issues and taking corrective action where possible. Works under general supervision, with instruction given for routine work and detailed instructions for new types of work or special projects. Requires basic knowledge of how the team is organized and how own tasks relate to the others in the team/ unit. Impacts team performance through reliability and accuracy of own work.
Qualification Requirements:

Additional Information
Base salary range for this role is 128,700 - 196,000 USD annually. This role may also be eligible for annual bonus OR commission, as well as benefits and other incentives.

Job Description:
The opioid treatment program Behavioral Health Nurse is responsible for the safe and efficient dispensing of opioid agonist medication to patients in a medication-assisted treatment setting. The dispensary nurse performs assessments, evaluations and administers other medications as ordered by the medical providers in accordance with regulations and standards of practice and consistent with policy and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures security of medications, patient records, and any other documentation required by the DEA, Department of Health, and all other licensing agencies.
- Dispenses appropriate medication doses and accounts for all medication inventory used during a dispensary shift.
- Accurately record nursing documentation in accordance with standards of practice in the electronic medical records system.
- Organizes and monitors the activities of the dispensary as requested by the dispensary manager.
- Reports to the dispensary lead nurse needs on medication inventory and dispensary supply needs for reordering.

- During the shift, the nurse sits at the dispensing counter in front of the computer and stands or walks for other tasks.
- Some time will be spent filing, printing, organizing supplies, or standing to perform an evaluation.
- Nurse should have the ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. as they may be responsible for moving office supplies or carrying heavy files or boxes.
