Divisional Quality Manager
Reports to: Director of Quality

Position Summary
The Divisional Quality Manager is responsible for leading and standardizing quality systems across multiple Virginia Transformer manufacturing facilities. Reporting to the Director of Quality, this role ensures consistent execution of quality standards for custom-engineered power transformers serving utility, industrial, renewable, and critical infrastructure markets.
This role partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Test, Supply Chain, and Customer teams to improve first-pass yield, reduce rework and non-conformances, and ensure Virginia Transformer meets or exceeds customer, regulatory, and industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Divisional Quality Leadership
- Lead divisional quality initiatives across assigned Virginia Transformer plants, ensuring alignment with corporate quality strategy.
- Serve as the senior quality escalation point for plant leadership on significant quality issues.
- Support the Director of Quality in establishing divisional KPIs, quality objectives, and continuous improvement priorities.
Manufacturing & Test Quality
- Drive quality performance across transformer manufacturing, assembly, and test operations.
- Partner with Test Lab leadership to ensure compliance with IEEE, ANSI, IEC, and customer-specific test requirements.
- Improve first-pass yield, reduce scrap and rework, and strengthen process control throughout manufacturing and testing.
Compliance, Audits & Certifications
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable quality standards.
- Lead internal audits and support external audits, including:
- Utility and industrial customer audits
- Certification body audits
- Regulatory and third-party inspections
- Drive effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with sustained results.
Supplier & Incoming Quality
- Partner with Supply Chain and Supplier Quality to improve incoming material quality for core steel, coils, insulation systems, bushings, tap changers, and other critical components.
- Support supplier audits, qualifications, and corrective action efforts.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
Customer Quality & Issue Resolution
- Serve as a key quality leader for customer quality concerns, including non-conformances, test failures, warranty issues, and field returns.
- Lead cross-functional root cause investigations (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone) and ensure timely, effective resolution.
- Support customer quality reviews and performance reporting.
Data, Metrics & Continuous Improvement
- Establish and maintain divisional quality dashboards and KPIs.
- Analyze quality trends related to defects, test failures, and customer feedback.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop plant-level Quality Managers and quality teams across the division.
- Build a strong culture of accountability, ownership, and “right-first-time” execution.
- Support training, capability building, and succession planning within the Quality organization.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of progressive quality leadership experience in manufacturing.
- Experience supporting multi-plant manufacturing operations.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001) and audit processes.
- Hands-on experience with root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience in transformer manufacturing, power equipment, or heavy industrial manufacturing.
- Familiarity with IEEE, ANSI, IEC standards and utility customer requirements.

Pharmacy Technician Compensation The pay for this position is $24.45/hr Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Pharmacy Technician Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs The required availability for this position is Full-Time | Monday – Friday 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities · Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications.
· Enter prescription and billing information into the computer system to support accurate processing and reimbursement.
· Assist the Pharmacist with the final review process, including staging medications and preparing prescriptions for packaging and delivery.
· Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers.
· Maintain pharmacy inventory, including receiving and rotating medications and supplies, recording lot numbers and expiration dates, and assisting with physical inventory counts.
· Support pharmacy leadership in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
· Check equipment to ensure proper calibration, safety, and cleanliness standards are met.

About the Role
Our Retail Flooring & Design Specialists offer exceptional design skills combined with extensive product knowledge to assist clients through the process of securing the perfect flooring for their home. Whether that interaction occurs in our showroom or in their home, the objective is always to provide helpful assistance to make the customers' buying decision easier.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Greet customers in the showroom and help them determine the best floor for their needs and wants
- Assist customers with their flooring choice through decorating and design advice
- Provide exceptional communication from point of sale thru completion of installation
- Ability to Schedule appointments and drive to customers’ homes for measurements/sample drop-offs, etc.
- Ability to Measure rooms and sketch layouts for customers’ projects
- Calculate estimates and present to clients
- Write sales orders and process the necessary paperwork for the orders
- Build client relationships – create customers for LIFE!
- Ask clients for referrals and online reviews
- Develop and drive new business by means of networking events such as those held by the local chambers of commerce and home builder association
- Report daily inbound web/showroom/phone traffic, home visits, quotes, and sales
- Maintain showroom readiness
- Stay current with product knowledge and warranties
- Work a pre-determined schedule, including every other Saturday and rotating holidays
- Receive payments and stay up to date with Carpet One’s financing program
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in Interior Design or Business Administration/Management is preferred
- 4 years Inside/Outside Sales is preferred
- 2 years Interior Design is preferred
- 2 years Customer Service is required
Required Skills
- A history of demonstrated success in assisting customers through the selling process – preferably in flooring/interior finishes
- A passion for developing and maintaining lifelong client relationships
- An enthusiasm for design, decorating, and creating a space that clients will fall in love with (and post on social media)
- Ability and desire to learn our operating system including mobile components
- Willingness to complete our product and sales training to become a Carpet One Five Diamond Certified Floor & Home Consultant
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Android, and Apple iOS systems
- Display high energy with a positive attitude and desire to exceed expectations
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Professionalism, to include dependability, accountability, punctuality, organization, and planning
Pay Range & Compensation:
Retail Flooring & Design Specialists can achieve $60,000–$75,000 OTE, driven by sales performance, with no cap on earnings.
