SUMMARY
The Director, Fleet & Facilities, is responsible for the strategic leadership and operational excellence of both the company’s fleet and facilities. This role places a strong emphasis on capital management, cost-effective repair and maintenance, and exceptional internal customer service. The Director drives initiatives to maximize fleet performance and asset value, minimize lifecycle costs, and ensure safe, efficient, and well-maintained facilities that support company operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fleet Management
- Lead capital planning for fleet assets, including acquisition, replacement, and disposal strategies to optimize value and reduce total cost of ownership.
- Develop and enforce policies for cost-efficient fleet usage, fueling, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
- Implement advanced telematics and analytics to monitor fleet performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and extend vehicle and equipment life.
- Supervise fleet maintenance teams, ensuring high-quality, timely, and cost-effective repairs.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts for fleet leasing, repairs, and services, with a focus on reducing expenses and improving service quality.
- Analyze fleet maintenance and repair data to identify trends, reduce downtime, and implement preventive strategies that lower costs.
- Direct onboarding and ongoing training for fleet staff, emphasizing best practices in repair, maintenance, cost management, and internal customer service.
- Foster a culture of responsiveness and partnership with internal stakeholders, ensuring fleet services consistently meet or exceed internal customer expectations.
Facilities Management
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and improvement of company buildings, grounds, and infrastructure to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
- Develop and manage capital improvement plans for facility upgrades, expansions, and renovations, prioritizing projects with strong ROI and cost reduction potential.
- Manage facility service contracts (HVAC, janitorial, landscaping, security, etc.), ensuring optimal vendor performance and cost efficiency.
- Supervise facilities maintenance teams, ensuring timely and cost-effective repairs and improvements.
- Support internal customer service by ensuring facilities meet the needs of all departments and stakeholders.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Facilities Management, or related field preferred.
- Ten years of progressive experience in fleet, facilities, or operations management, including leadership responsibilities required.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record in accordance with Company policy.
- Experience with telematics systems, ELD platforms, and fleet management software.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale operations, service vendors, and compliance programs.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Strong internal customer service orientation, with a track record of building effective relationships and delivering high-quality support to internal teams.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and risk mitigation.

Responsible for negotiating with air & ocean carriers (including project and breakbulk) to secure most competitive rate and service as part of overall global ocean core carrier and/or project cargo strategy. Advanced Aquarium Technologies (AAT) – a world leader in the design, construction and operation of iconic public aquariums – is seeking an experienced, commercially minded General Manager to lead the Aquarium of Guam, one of the island’s most significant tourism and community assets.
Located in the heart of Tumon, near Hagåtña, on the U.S. Territory island of Guam, the Aquarium of Guam is currently undergoing a major, multi-million-dollar transformation — the largest investment in its history — with reopening planned for the second half of 2026. The renewed Aquarium is highly anticipated as the jewel in the crown of Guam’s tourism infrastructure and will celebrate the island’s unique and interconnected aquatic habitats, from freshwater streams and mangroves to seagrass meadows and coral reefs.

This permanent, on-site leadership role is based in Guam — a unique U.S. Pacific territory known as “Where America’s Day Begins,” offering a vibrant island lifestyle and operating on the same time zone as North Eastern Australia, creating a natural bridge between the United States and the Asia-Pacific region.
The Aquarium is owned by its Principal and operated under a long-term Management Services Agreement with AAT. Under this arrangement, the General Manager is employed by AAT and based full-time at the Aquarium, acting as AAT’s senior on-site representative, the most senior leader of the operation and a strategic point of liaison with the Principal.
This is a hands-on, accountable leadership role with end-to-end responsibility for day-to-day operations, visitor attraction, financial performance, people leadership, safety, compliance, and stakeholder engagement.

The General Manager does not operate in isolation.
You will be supported on-site by a team that includes embedded AAT curatorial and aquarist team members, working alongside the Aquarium of Guam’s operational staff. This embedded AAT team, including the General Manager, has at its fingertips the backing and support of one of the most comprehensive portfolios of aquarium special-works expertise and resources anywhere in the world.

The role
As General Manager, you will:

Looking for a heavy equipment mechanic for shop or field with the following skills.
Minimum of five years’ experience in the heavy equipment construction repair industry.
Needs to be able to diagnose and repair the following:
• Diesel engines, understand the internal workings, be able to troubleshoot fuel system and engine performance problems (CAT, Komatsu, Cummins, Perkin)
• Hydraulic system control function, hydraulic cylinder repair and be familiarized with control valves
• Power train –differentials, planetary gears, transmission, and drive lines
• Electrical – be able to read electrical schematics and shop manuals
Mechanics must have basic hand tools, power tolls, pneumatic tools, basic hydraulic test gauges and electrical diagnostic meters and toolbox.
Must be familiarized with dozers, backhoes, wheel loaders, skid steers, compactors, box blades and excavators.
Must pass criminal background check and physical/drug screen. Must have clean driving record for field truck positions.
Position Summary:
Petrosmith, a trusted leader in the oilfield manufacturing and services industry, seeks an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The Senior Project Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the successful execution of fabricating various products in water filtration, O&G, RNG, Carbon Capture, Industrial, Data Center Infrastructure and Power. The Senior Project Manager also coordinates field construction projects, primarily across Texas, Colorado, New Mexico and other states. This position is responsible for managing projects from initial quotation through completion, ensuring alignment with customer expectations, technical specifications, and budgetary constraints. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and technical skills, with a proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and deliver results in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Must be able to travel to West Texas / New Mexico (Permian Basin), Abilene, Houston, Fort Worth/Dallas, and other locations – 25%.
- The Project Manager is responsible for completion of projects from the quotation process through execution.
- The Project Manager’s primary role is integrating multiple departments and organizations to achieve project objective.
- Builds effective working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- This includes Planning, coordinates, and implements moderately complex projects; monitoring of pricing and materials, acting as a liaison for the shop/management/customer and ensuring deadlines and specifications of projects are met.
- Works under minimal supervision and highly self-motivated, meeting with customers (both customer field personnel and facilities engineers) to define scope of project requirements.
- Coordinates & evaluates requests for changes internally and by customer, and preparation and approval of change orders
- Accountable to senior management for project commercial, technical, and schedule performance. Prepares and submits weekly financial reports along with key accounting data.
- Involved in development of project proposal, budget, and execution strategy and reviews / modifies / produces written proposals for/with accuracy, change order proposals, and adherence to such strategies. Works closely with the Sales department and serves as a technical expert in the design and engineering process
- Interfaces with both external and internal customers and vendors on technical and commercial issues.
- Manages project team focus in achieving common goals; Communicate project scope, requirements, and technical concerns directly with Process, Engineers, Project Managers, Drafters/Designers and other functional groups.
- Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solution of problems (both technical and commercial).
- Resolve conflicts regarding process and mechanical design; provide sound design solutions. Interact with others in a professional manner, promoting cooperation and teamwork.
- Work with other members of the organization to assist in the design and development of equipment required to meet customers’ needs or market demands.
- Acts as a mentor to less experienced project managers & project engineers.
- Any other reasonable request deemed necessary by management. Handles special projects, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- PMP Certificate (Preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in water filtration systems, oilfield surface product manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial construction environments, with a proven track record of successful project management.
- Production Equipment operation: 5 years (Preferred)
- Manager/Supervisory Experience of teams with 3+ members
- Project Management: 3-10 years (Preferred)
- Experience Managing teams: 5+ years
Required Skills or Tools:
- Ability to effectively communicate and able to Read and Interpret Engineering Drawings (Process Flow Diagrams, General Arrangement, P&ID, Pressure Vessel, Piping, etc.)
- Experience working for a Private Equity (PE) backed company.
- Familiarity with Industry Codes and Standards; (ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 Pressure Vessels, ASME B31.3 Piping, AWS, API, ASTM, NACE, OSHA, etc.)
- Familiar with manufacturing & fabrication operations (welding, cutting, assembly, etc.), as well as piping systems and oilfield.
- Good Problem Solving Skills; define/understand the problem, identify constraints, work towards the best possible solution.
- Strong Safety Awareness
- Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work outside in manufacturing, field processing, and production site atmospheres.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Project
