LEGAL OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW
This role offers hands-on responsibility across all phases of litigation, including depositions, motion practice, expert coordination, and trial preparation. Attorneys in this position are entrusted with managing their own matters while working closely with experienced litigators and trial attorneys. There is a clear opportunity for first- and second-chair trial experience.
The position is based in Irvine, CA, with regular travel to Los Angeles and surrounding counties, and occasional travel to central and northern California for court appearances, depositions, and site inspections.
What You Will Do
- Manage complex insurance defense litigation matters from inception through trial
- Draft pleadings, discovery, law and motion, and Case Management Orders

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and organize attorney inboxes as directed, participate in regular check-ins, create task lists, track deliverables, and set reminders for attorneys.

- 3+ years of litigation experience. Expertise in California and/or Arizona state and federal court procedure and rules, as well as local rules and practice standards in LA and/or Orange County required.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to anticipate case needs.
- Experience with managing E-discovery using Everlaw (or similar) is a plus.
- High level of professionalism, communication, initiative, independent judgement, and comfort learning new technology.
