About your Mission:

Some callers are stressed and you need the patience and empathy to help them find an appropriate resource.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • MUST have six (6) months of consecutive call center or contact center experience.
  • Your computer must direct-connect via cable into your wired cable service home High-Speed Internet router. Your speed test must indicate a minimum 25 Mbps download without delay / Minimum 10 Mbps upload, both without any delay. Upon successful completion of training, you will be equipped with a computer and other equipment necessary for your work.

Note: Wi-Fi-only high-speed internet can rarely sustain necessary internet speeds and reliable connectivity. The required speed test you take will show the kind of internet access that you have. High-speed wireless provider service is not acceptable due to frequent connectivity drops.

You must have a work-at-home environment that is ergonomically sound, conducive to taking customer calls, quiet, and free from distraction. Your calls require your focus in assisting a Veteran. Sometimes the Veteran is under stress. A call can take just minutes to as long as an hour. Your mission: help!

Note: This is a 40-hour per work week position. This requires sitting at a desk and using a computer and computer monitor for 8 hours daily.

Ability to work under pressure by calmly and effectively dealing with escalating or difficult calls. Callers can be experiencing challenges in their lives. The Role

Accurately receives all deliveries to Kelvion and performs inventory control functions in a fast-paced work environment. Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing the following duties

What you will be responsible for:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Warehousing:
    • Perform all functions of logistics material handlers.
    • Ensure all material is properly stored in the appropriate storage/stocking locations.
    • Ensure all assigned work is completed throughout the day
  • Receiving:
    • Ability to Load / Unload trucks and trailers with a forklift or crane.
    • Count, and check in material according to the PO or Packing List.
    • Identify, correct and report receiving / material issues.
    • Receive material against the PO into Made 2 Manage.
    • Properly store material in the appropriate storage / stocking locations when received.
    • Read and understand shop drawings to check material conformity.
    • Maintain good document control in accordance to business procedures.
    • Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management.
  • Common Activities:
    • Assist logistics material handlers, receivers, and shippers in the accurate maintenance of the Made 2 Manage inventory system.
    • Work closely with all department leads upon receiving material.
    • Maintain department housekeeping.
    • Inspects parts during the handling process for possible quality issues.
    • Perform other related duties as directed.
    • Create a positive team atmosphere within the department.
    • Provide leadership by example to the departmental team.
