Job Description:

• Coordinates and tracks numerous legal matters of all types.
• Creates, edits, formats, and proofreads documents including agreements, contracts, plans, etc.

• Communicates directly and on behalf of attorneys with third parties, including client representatives, other companies, and other institutions.

• Reviews and edits bills and related reports according to client billing arrangements and facilitates prompt responses to client billing inquiries.
• Maintains a multitude of open client matters in Serengeti.
• Maintains electronic and paper files following Firm and client service team guidelines.
• Maintains and monitors attorney calendars.
• Coordinates and/or books travel arrangements.
• Prepares, tracks and maintains attorney expenses in Chrome River.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Job Description

• Manage litigation calendaring, deadlines, and court-related scheduling
• Prepare, file, and serve documents in California state and federal courts
• Maintain and organize electronic case files and litigation documents

Skills/Qualifications

• 3+ years of law firm experience, preferably in risk management or corporate compliance.
• Law degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar licensure in at least one state and in good standing.
• Experience in conflicts identification and clearance at a large law firm.
• Experience with researching jurisdiction-specific rules as they relate to conflicts of interest.
• Experience with iManage or other document management/document retention software used by major law firms.
