Duties and Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
•10+ years of experience in HR with evidence of strong career growth and progression.

•Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, California a strong plus

Litigation Paralegal – Miami
Major National law firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal with 4+ years of experience to support their West Palm Beach office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys in all stages of litigation.
- Draft and e-file pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
- Organize and manage discovery, including document production using eDiscovery tools (Relativity, Trial Director).
- Edit and proofread legal documents for accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and rules.
- Manage case calendars and monitor deadlines.
- Assist with deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with attorneys, staff, and external parties.
- Maintain strong attention to detail and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm or legal setting.

Requirements:
Education: Legal degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
Location: Miami, Palm Beach, or states close to courts.
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in immigration law, with a strong focus on removal defense.
Skills: Full professional fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written), Strong legal writing and oral advocacy, experience with EOIR systems and USCIS processes, excellent organizational skills.

Job Description
- Manage a high volume of personal injury/premise liability litigation caseload from intake through resolution
- Meet deadlines and push cases to trial
- Conduct legal research
- Meet and communicate with clients, build trust, and guide them through the legal process
- Draft demand packages, respond to litigation documents, discovery, etc.
- Prepare, review, and audit pleadings, motions, discovery, etc. in furtherance of active litigation files
- Communicate with insurers and opposing counsel regarding claims, demands, and settlement negotiations
- Prepare cases for trial as needed (no trial experience required, but litigation readiness matters)
- Work closely with support staff to keep cases moving efficiently
- Travel, attendance, and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances, at needed.
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- 4+ years of personal injury experience
- Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar Association
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong interest in Plaintiff's work and Personal Injury law
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Civil Litigation skills and working knowledge of civil procedure
