This position is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients.
This may include delegation of appropriate tasks to direct patient care staff including but not limited to RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians.
As a member of the End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD) health care team, this position participates in decision-making, teaching, leadership functions, and quality improvement activities that enhance patient care outcomes and facility operations.

· Assesses, collaborates, and documents patient/family’s basic learning needs to provide initial and ongoing education to patients and family.
· Directs and provides, in collaboration with direct and ancillary patient care staff, all aspects of the daily provision of safe and effective delivery of hemodialysis therapy to assigned patients.
· Administers medications as prescribed or in accordance with approved algorithm(s), and documents appropriate medical justification and effectiveness.
· Initiates or assists with emergency response measures.
· Serves as a resource for health care team, participates in staff training and orientation of new staff as assigned.
· Ensures correct laboratory collection, processing and shipping procedures are performed and reschedules missed or insufficient laboratory collections.
· Identifies expected outcomes, documents and updates the nursing assessment and plan of care for assigned patients through collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team.
· Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Position Summary
The Total Joint Orthopedic Surgeon is responsible for the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with musculoskeletal conditions involving the hip and knee, with a primary focus on adult reconstructive surgery. This role includes performing primary and revision joint replacement procedures, managing non-operative orthopedic care, and providing comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative treatment.
The Total Joint Orthopedic Surgeon works collaboratively with physician assistants, nurses, therapists, and other clinical staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care. The surgeon is expected to maintain clinical excellence, uphold professional and ethical standards, and contribute to the overall success and growth of the practice.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Clinical Care
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with hip and knee conditions including degenerative joint disease, arthritis, and other musculoskeletal disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing both operative and non-operative approaches.
• Perform surgical procedures including primary and revision total hip and total knee arthroplasty.
• Provide comprehensive pre-operative, operative, and post-operative care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Surgical Responsibilities
• Perform orthopedic surgical procedures in accordance with accepted medical standards and evidence-based practices.
• Participate in surgical scheduling and block time utilization as assigned.
• Collaborate with surgical facility staff to ensure efficient and safe surgical operations.
• Adhere to all facility credentialing and privileging requirements.
Patient Care Coordination
• Collaborate with physician assistants, nurses, medical assistants, therapists, and administrative staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Communicate effectively with referring providers and other members of the patient’s care team.
• Provide patient education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical procedures, and recovery expectations.
Professional Responsibilities
• Maintain board certification and required continuing medical education.
• Participate in practice meetings, peer review activities, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain active medical staff privileges at affiliated surgical facilities.
• Participate in shared call coverage as determined by the practice.
Minimum Qualifications
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency program
• Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction / Total Joint Arthroplasty
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Eligible for Oregon medical licensure
• Eligible for hospital privileges at affiliated surgical facilities
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience performing primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty
• Strong clinical outcomes and patient-centered care philosophy
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Working Conditions:
• Onsite position requiring regular presence in clinic.
• Work is in a fast-paced clinical setting with direct patient interaction.
• Employees may be required to work at all locations based on clinic needs.
• Requires frequent standing, walking, and assisting patients, with occasional lifting of medical supplies.
• Adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control policies is mandatory.
• Use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system for scheduling and documentation.

As a warehouse associate you may work in one of the following six areas:

You will be matching item quantities and descriptions to packing slips on returned items, checking in returned product and tagging it appropriate. You will be operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to move product within the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures. Not all work will be completed on Material handling equipment.
Shipping: You’ll be responsible for organizing, stacking, and shrink-wrapping customer orders on pallets. You’ll be loading trucks manually; lifting, lowering, and carrying product in a fast-paced environment and stacking empty pallets while maintaining a safe and clean workspace as you go.
Please note, as an SC2 associate you may be moved into any of the above roles, or SC1 roles, as needed.

- An ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand.
- Must wear safety composite shoes.
- Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
- Prior experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jack and cherry picker helpful.
