Job Details Position Summary The IT Support Technician – Manufacturing Operations is responsible for delivering hands-on technical support for all production and office IT systems within a U.S.-based food manufacturing facility.
This role ensures the reliable operation of workstations, production-floor devices, printers, labelers, network-connected peripherals, and Microsoft Teams–enabled meeting rooms.
In addition to on-site support, this position provides remote assistance to other North American facilities and limited after-hours support for international locations as needed.
The IT Support Technician serves as the on-site IT liaison, collaborating closely with remote infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business application teams to maintain IT standards, system reliability, and operational uptime across global operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide day-to-day IT support for production systems, office workstations, and connected devices within the facility.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to production IT infrastructure, including network switches, wireless access points, industrial PCs, scanners, and label printers.
Support and maintain Microsoft Teams Rooms, conferencing technologies, and collaboration tools.
Ensure all IT incidents and service requests are properly logged, tracked, and resolved within the ITSM/ticketing system (e.g., GLPI or equivalent).

JOB PURPOSE:
- Study new model feature technology and develop new Line End Tester (LET) inspections prior to Mass Production by leading activity with Design/Suppliers, confirmation testing, summarizing results, identifying root cause, lead implementation for temporary solutions and permanent countermeasures to ensure minimal line downtime and optimal vehicle quality is delivered to the Customer

Job Purpose
Be the liaison between Project Execution’s new model team and the Department. Lead/coordinate new model event support and report on new model readiness through trial stages and mass production.
Key Accountabilities
Lead New Model Trials:
- Create training strategy for new model change points.
- Identify and document trial problems and discuss countermeasures.
- Communicate initial issues from build events within the department as well as outside of the department.
- Inform team members and other departments of project change points.
- Support quality problems and recommend countermeasures before mass production.

- Develop plans and schedules for projects. Set timelines and detailed activities. Hold meetings with cross functional engineering groups to ensure completeness.
- Project support for all items impacting assembly department’s associate process.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or similar); or 6 years relevant experience required
- 0-6 years’ experience based on education
- Knowledge of: Process Data Development and Analysis (PDDA); process engineering (MOST); parts numbers, BOM, and applications; Assembly (AF) quality control systems and specification; Assembly (AF) techniques and processes; New model project development; quality control systems and workflows; Assembly (AF) department layout and equipment.
- Skill in: Analytical problem solving and decision making; communicating change to others, root cause analysis, collaboration with others, and self-driven.
Working Conditions:
- Shift schedule is primarily a first shift position but at times require supporting additional shifts/hours
- Position could require some travel to other HDMA locations or supplier locations
- Position could require daily overtime or Saturday overtime
- Position could require DPC coverage to the production floor
- 50% Fast-paced high-energy manufacturing environment, 50% office environmen
