Our therapists maintain a thoughtfully managed, low client load to support high-quality care and reduce burnout
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Provide trauma-informed assessments and therapy to children and their non-offending caregivers and family members
- Develop individualized, strengths-based treatment plans with clear goals and measurable outcomes

- Attend ongoing trainings and supervision to maintain licensure and meet accreditation standards
- Fulfill mandatory reporting responsibilities as required by Kansas law
- Support the mission, values, and collaborative culture of the CAC
Occasionally, therapists may be asked to participate in court proceedings related to a client's case
WHY YOU'LL LOVE WORKING HERE:
Collaborative Team Environment
- Our CAC model emphasizes partnership and communication. You'll work alongside advocates, medical professionals, and community partners who share the same mission of supporting children and families
Work-Life Balance & Flexibility
- We prioritize clinician well-being by maintaining a manageable caseload and offering schedule flexibility. We support clinicians in creating a schedule that works well for their families and personal needs. Evening hours are not required but may be available for those who prefer them
- There is no overtime — schedules are flexed as needed
Low Client Load
- We intentionally maintain a reduced caseload so clinicians can provide thoughtful, high-quality care while minimizing burnout
Clinical Support & Professional Growth
- We provide strong clinical supervision and financial support for professional growth. This includes financial assistance for supervision hours and additional certifications
- Our agency coordinates obtaining certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) training and covers the costs associated with that training
- Opportunity to participate in or co-facilitate PSB (Problematic Sexual Behavior) groups, based on interest and training
- We also coordinate ongoing professional development opportunities for our therapists — clinicians are supported by leadership in identifying, arranging, and accessing trainings rather than navigating that process alone
Positive Workplace Culture
- We believe meaningful work should be sustainable and supported. Our team enjoys agency activities, staff appreciation events, morale-building gatherings, and opportunities to connect outside of daily responsibilities
WORK SCHEDULE:
- Flexible scheduling with support to create a schedule that fits your needs
- Evening hours are not required but may be available if preferred
- No overtime; schedules are flexed as needed

- Job Type: Full-time
- Base Pay: $65,000 - $80,000 per year
- We offer an incentive plan that allows clinicians to increase their salary based on billable hours. The incentive plan begins after 90 days of employment
