5. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

A well-established South Florida construction firm is seeking a skilled Permit Coordinator to manage the critical approvals process for our diverse portfolio of luxury custom residential and commercial projects. Based in Lake Park this is a stable company with 26 years of local success.

Key Responsibilities – Permit Coordination

• Manage the end-to-end permit process for a mix of high-end luxury residential and commercial projects
• Coordinate directly with municipalities including Boca Raton, Lake Park, Palm Beach, Jupiter, and West Palm Beach
• Track a high volume of documents simultaneously, ensuring no project stalls due to administrative delays
• Maintain rigorous follow-up with building departments and internal project teams
• Prepare, submit, and monitor permit packages, revisions, and specialty applications
• Report directly to the VP and coordinate with the CFO on recruitment/onboarding status as needed
• Keep digital and physical project logs meticulously organized

Required Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in permit coordination or construction administration (Required)
• Location: Must be familiar with the South Florida / Palm Beach County municipal landscape (Required)
• Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of the documentation required for both residential and commercial builds
• Administrative Excellence: Ability to manage high-pressure deadlines and "keep things moving"
