Physician Assistants, in an emergency, shall be authorized to treat any medical disease and/or perform any medical procedures at the hospital for affiliates. An emergency, for these purposes, is defined as a situation in which any delay in administering treatment would result in serious harm to the patient or an immediate threat to life of the patient and the patient?s physician is not immediately available.
In addition, the PA must have experience providing diagnostic and treatment options for allergic diseases, performing allergy skin testing for adults and children, treating, and managing food allergy, asthma, eczema and allergic rhinitis.
The activities listed above may be performed in any setting authorized by the supervising physician, including but not limited to, clinics, hospitals, ambulatory centers, patient homes, nursing homes and other community or institution settings in several locations such as 1180 Morris Park, 1250 Waters Place, White Plains and Harrison.
In addition to the Core Skills listed here, PA?s will request validation to perform department specific skills.

Qualifications:
- Current Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant License
- Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant Program
- ACLS
- Current infection control certification
