*Overview*
Blue Ridge Vascular & Endovascular Institute is a newly established, physician-led vascular and endovascular practice integrating an outpatient clinic, non-invasive vascular laboratory, and office-based angiographic lab. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to play a central role in building and advancing a high-quality, accredited non-invasive vascular laboratory serving the Virginia Blue Ridge region.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Perform comprehensive non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations including carotid duplex, peripheral arterial and venous studies, venous reflux exams, and abdominal vascular studies
* Obtain high-quality grayscale, color Doppler, and spectral Doppler images using Canon Medical Aplio-i series ultrasound systems
* Accurately measure, analyze, and document vascular anatomy and pathology

Key Responsibilities

The Division of Interventional Cardiology at Mount Sinai Hospital, NYC seeks a highly qualified applicant for their 1-year position of Non ACGME accredited Interventional Vascular Medicine Fellowship Program starting July 2026. Pre-requisites for the program include successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Interventional Cardiology Fellowship.
Background:
The Interventional Vascular Medicine Fellowship Program at Mount Sinai Hospital is one of the busiest programs on the East coast, which provides state of the art comprehensive care to patients with peripheral vascular disease – both arterial and venous. We perform >2000 arterial and venous procedures on a yearly basis. In addition, we are actively involved in research and are at the forefront of multiple national and international PAD trials. The program provides fellows in the Vascular Diagnostic and Intervention program with integrated training in the diagnosis, care, and percutaneous treatment of patients with vascular disease with a particular focus on peripheral vascular disease and the performance of peripheral vascular procedures. The fellows work in close association with world-renowned team of Department of Vascular Medicine and Department of Vascular Surgery to gain comprehensive training in the field of vascular and endovascular medicine. At the end of the fellowship, the fellow is Board eligible for Vascular Medicine and Endovascular Medicine.
Curriculum:
We offer the opportunity for fellows to gain knowledge and procedural expertise in the evaluation and management of patients with a wide variety of vascular diseases including:
Acute and chronic arterial occlusion of the lower extremities
Acute and chronic limb ischemia
Atherosclerotic renal artery disease
Atherosclerotic disease of the brachiocephalic vessels including the carotid artery
Venous disease – Deep venous thrombosis, Venous compression, Superficial venous insufficiency.

Summary:
The Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) performs a range of non-invasive vascular diagnostic procedures to support the assessment and treatment of vascular conditions. Offering an exceptional opportunity, we are searching for a Chief of the Section to lead our growing team of five vascular surgeons and five advanced practice providers in a clinic-based academic program with remarkable prospects in clinical practice, research, and teaching. The ideal candidate should possess excellent clinical and technical skills, have exceptional leadership qualities, and have a collaborative approach to patient care. Provide comprehensive vascular care, including both open and endovascular procedures-across a clinical system encompassing Dell Seton Medical Center (Level I trauma center), Ascension Seton Medical Center, two suburban Level II trauma hospitals with busy vascular surgery practices, and Dell Children's Hospital.
Foster a culture that prioritizes faculty success, enhances satisfaction and retention, and supports the growth of both academic and clinical activities.
Ensure the division consistently meets or exceeds benchmarked quality standards across clinical outcomes, operational processes, patient experience, and overall quality rankings.
Deliver high-quality clinical care, participating in on-call coverage, staffing outpatient clinics, managing perioperative patients, and responding to daily consultation requests.

The Vascular Laboratory provides inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services. Routine vascular services include peripheral arterial Doppler, peripheral arterial duplex, peripheral venous duplex, carotid duplex, duplex of dialysis access grafts and fistulas, and renal artery studies. Service are offered in the department as well as at bedside to the patients in the ICU and PCU.

The Registered Vascular Sonographer performs a variety of tests to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. Exams include, but not limited to, carotid imaging, peripheral plethysmography, doppler wave form, segmental pressure, venous and arterial imaging, and thoracic outlet studies. May also perform vascular procedures.

Endovascular Surgery Procedures:
Experience with a range of endovascular interventions is essential, including:
* Carotid artery stenting
* Bypass surgery
* Femoral-popliteal bypass procedures

* Endovenous laser therapy
