Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and mix spray foam material daily according to specifications.
  • Perform thickness checks during application to ensure the required material thickness is achieved.
  • Set up and operate mixing and spraying equipment.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
  • Keep materials organized and maintain a clean work area.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and minor equipment maintenance.
  • Travel to job sites across the state of Florida.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with fireproofing materials and mixing processes.
  • Must complete a respiratory and fit test, provided by Alpha, before spraying begins safety is our top priority.
  • Knowledge of equipment setup and operation, with strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Physical Demands: The individual must be able to stand for long periods, move heavy bags of material, and perform repeated lifting, stooping, and bending motions. Daily responsibilities include carrying and organizing materials and setting up machinery, often requiring the movement of items weighing up to 50 pounds. The work is typically performed in outdoor or semi-enclosed construction environments, exposing the employee to heat, dust, and noise. Close attention to physical coordination is necessary while operating mixers and related equipment. Use of proper PPE is mandatory at all times.
