A mentor parent is a mother or father with previous lived experience in the child welfare system who has successfully reunified with their children and completed their legal case. A mentor parent cannot have any open legal case, and the court cannot have jurisdiction over their family. If substance use disorder was an issue in their juvenile dependency case, the mentor parent must possess a personal commitment to a clean and sober lifestyle and understand recovery programming.
The mentor will serve the client as part of a team that includes the client's attorney and a social worker. The attorney will provide direction to the mentor. The mentor will meet with clients in the community and support them in both their criminal justice-related matters and child welfare matters. They will help the client navigate the court system by providing their own experiences as a parent in the system.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients in accessing services and identifying community supports with the goal of reducing further child welfare involvement.
- Visit clients in the field (e.g., drug treatment facilities, jails, etc.).
- Collaborate with the Dependency Legal Services Pre-Prevention team, local child welfare agency, and other preventative service programs, while also maintaining client confidentiality to best meet the client's needs.
- Coach clients on how to interface with service providers in the child welfare setting.
- Carefully track their time and report their time for grant eligibility purposes through our JCATS electronic file system.
- Meet regularly with the multi-disciplinary legal team for case consultations and program development.

The Operating Room Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care throughout the perioperative process, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during surgical procedures. This role involves preparing the operating room, managing surgical equipment, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. The OR RN collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and adheres to the highest standards of patient safety, infection control, and professional ethics in a dynamic surgical environment.
Essential Work Functions:- Prepares the operating room by ensuring all required instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies are ready and functional for each surgical procedure
- Assists in positioning and preparing patients for surgery, addressing concerns and ensuring comfort and safety according to procedural requirements
- Maintains a sterile field throughout surgical procedures and adheres to infection control protocols and sterile technique
- Anticipates the needs of the surgical team, providing instruments, supplies, and support promptly to maintain efficient workflow
- Monitors the patient's condition during surgery, documenting significant changes and notifying the surgeon
- Handles surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring their proper use, sterilization, and disposal according to facility protocols
- Manages specimen collection, labeling, and transport according to facility protocols, ensuring accurate diagnostic results
- Documents all aspects of patient care in the perioperative setting accurately and thoroughly
- Participates in patient handoff communication during pre- and post-operative phases, ensuring continuity of care
- Assists in cleaning and restocking the operating room between cases, adhering to infection control and turnover protocols
- Collaborates with the surgical team to ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and standards
- Follows hospital safety rules and procedures, including proper use of PPE and infection prevention measures
- Performs other duties as assigned within the scope of practice
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills

As a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nuse, following Satellite policies and procedures per their state Scope of Practice, safely and efficiently. They will be the first team member to meet and greet patients on the treatment floor. Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technicians at Satellite are compelled to make the patients feel comfortable once they enter our centers and throughout the course of their treatment. The Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician will advocate for patients while they are at the unit, and effectively communicate with other team members any information pertinent to delivering quality care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School Diploma, G.E.D. certificate, or equivalent
Experience:
