The Perioperative Clinical Service Line Lead reports to the nurse manager and holds a key leadership position within the division. In collaboration with the Nurse Manager, this leader assumes the responsibility of coordinating and articulating the philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of the Albany Med Health system, the nursing service, and perioperative nursing into effective action.

This nurse must have strong leadership and communication skills in order to maintain a safe and caring environment that supports excellence in clinical practice and customer service. This individual serves as a unit-based leader and acts as a liaison to clinical staff, physicians, support staff, and others involved in promoting positive patient outcomes.

The Perioperative Clinical Service line lead is responsible for coordinating the activities of the specialty service (robotics). They oversee equipment/supply needs, exhibit a mastery of several nursing functions in the specialty service to advise and teach other patient care team members. They will also function as a liaison between managers/specialty teams/anesthesia staff and medical staff while performing the cored duties of a Registered Nurse.

Clinical Service Line Lead - ROBOTICS

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred

- Current New York State licensure required

- CNOR preferred

- BLS required

- Three years previous Operating Room experience required with two years in robotic specialty field and general Operating Room procedures.

- Demonstrates leadership experience charge or resource role.

- EPIC experience preferred.
