- 5+ years of experience in personal injury civil litigation
- Civil jury trial experience.
- Well versed in Colorado Rules of Civil Procedures, with experience in civil discovery and motions practice.
- Attention to detail and proven record of handling a civil case docket and deadline management.

A growing law firm in the Los Angeles area, considered a powerhouse in the field of plaintiff's side wage-and-hour class action litigation, seeks highly legal assistant to join its expanding team. The firm has a robust caseload, in federal and state courts, against regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies in multiple industries. Focusing on the prosecution of consumer and employment class and representative actions, involving wage-and-hour, unfair business practice, discrimination, and false advertising matters.
The firm has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of thousands of employees and consumers in California. Our firm has a large number of active cases in both state and federal courts throughout California.

Duties/Responsibilities
ยท Meets with attorneys, clients, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases or projects.
ยท Drafts legal documents and file motions and pleadings according to judicial procedures.
ยท Interviews clients and witnesses and prepare summaries of their statements.
ยท Prepares, organizes, stores, and retrieves case files, which may include evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, exhibits, and other items.
ยท Inputting and updating all legal deadlines, court dates, depositions, hearings, and client meetings into the firm's calendaring system.
ยท Calculating and double-checking accurate deadlines based on relevant rules and statutes.
ยท Managing conflicts and scheduling adjustments as needed.
ยท Develops and maintains records on cases.
ยท Organizes, enters, and cross-references documents in a computerized database.
ยท Assists attorneys with organizing and carrying out special projects as assigned.
ยท Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
ยท Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or related field preferred.
ยท Minimum of 1 year of experience.
