Job Details We are seeking a skilled International Trade Compliance Associate with 2+ years of experience to join our team.

This is an outstanding opportunity to work on cutting-edge trade compliance issues alongside a supportive and collaborative practice group.

Role Focus This position emphasizes providing strategic legal counsel on a broad spectrum of international trade and regulatory matters, including: Regulatory Compliance and Counseling: Advising clients on federal regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Foreign Assets Control (sanctions), and Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S.

(CFIUS) regulations.

Investigations and Disclosures: Investigating and drafting voluntary disclosures related to potential regulatory violations.

Compliance Policy Development: Assisting clients in creating and implementing robust compliance programs to meet regulatory standards.

Transactional and Operational Support: Providing legal guidance on trade compliance issues arising from transactions and day-to-day business operations.

Agency Interaction and Enforcement: Representing clients in matters involving federal enforcement agencies and navigating complex regulatory frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications We are looking for candidates with the following: Experience: A background in trade compliance matters, particularly with ITAR, EAR, sanctions regulations, and CFIUS.

Experience in-house or in government roles is a plus.

Skills: Exceptional legal research, writing, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Knowledge: Familiarity with voluntary disclosures, compliance policies, and regulatory enforcement procedures.
