Job Description
SUMMARY: The Area Director is responsible for maximizing the sales revenue and profits for multiple existing client locations within the MD/PA/NJ area. The Area Director will provide strategic direction and leadership to sales and operation teams to drive business development, recruitment, and increased profitability and market share with current customers. This is a hands-on and in person management position which will require travel to multiple client locations
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Evaluates businesses and recruiting opportunities and develops and implements recruiting programs (if and as needed to support local teams)
- Develops and executes operational plans and programs, both short and long term, to support sales, revenue and growth objectives of the Company
- Trains and develops team (Onsites/Staffing Specialists/Onboarding Specialists/Account Managers) for succession planning or overall development for growth.
- Accountable for revenue growth and area profitability management
- Prepares and manages office budgets, P&L responsibilities, administers expense control programs and approves employee expenses
- Maintains control of pricing, contracts and proposals to ensure sales, gross margin and profit objectives are met
- Recruits, hires and trains staff and provides developmental and career opportunities for staff
- Identifies, pursues and develops new accounts through awareness of the local market, competitor activities and community growth plans
- Explores all existing and new clients to determine where business expansion opportunities exist.
- Establishes and maintains rapport with key clients and acts as a key member of the sales team on large accounts and new client prospects
- Surveys clients regarding perception of service and emphasizes quality and service to identify opportunities to further grow existing accounts
- Ensures compliance with office procedures and all State, Federal, and local laws and regulations

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years proven and successful direct sales and P&L experience preferably within the staffing and service industry
- Experience in a high pressure, customer service-oriented environment
- 2+ years managing multiple operating units with indirect supervisory responsibility required, preferably in the staffing industry
- Strong face-to-face client and account management experience
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; equivalent experience may be acceptable

Job Description
The Virtual Sales Representative (VSR) will be responsible for marketing and selling CARDAMYST via teleconference and/or telephone to targeted health care offices and providers, in close partnership with aligned field representatives. They will deliver impactful core selling messages and educational materials as part of their remote engagements, reinforcing in-person efforts and expanding overall reach. VSRs will need to be flexible regarding job responsibilities as they will include a variety of strategic tasks: amplifying call frequency with high-priority targets, triaging and qualifying targeted HCPs, supporting large geographic territories, and engaging aligned sales team micro-focus practitioners. The VSR will create positive, coordinated virtual selling interactions that drive awareness, adoption, and market growth for CARDAMYST. Additionally, they will possess excellent customer service skills and polished marketing and sales acumen to cultivate current office targets and develop new healthcare provider relationships within those offices. These skill sets will also be critical in educating on the clinical profile and first-in-class value of assigned products, addressing questions and concerns, and identifying signals of adoption. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- Complete assigned product training at an advanced level, developing a comprehensive understanding of the disease state, assigned product features and benefits, core selling messages, and the clinical profile of a first-in-class therapy.
- Develop expertise in delivering core selling messaging in a virtual environment, reinforcing field strategy and tailoring discussions based on HCP interest level and engagement signals.
- Meet or exceed call expectations, quality engagement metrics, and sales attainment goals set forth by the Client.
- Maintain complete and timely CRM documentation of targeted customer interactions, including call attempts, product discussions, expressed level of interest, and literature requests.
- Develop business relationships with field team to maximize coverage of shared targets.
- Ensure high level of coordination, communication, and collaboration with field-based representative counterparts and field-based Regional Sales Manager. Ensuring that efforts are aligned and coordinated to provide a superior customer experience.
- Coordinate regularly with field-based counterparts to ensure seamless execution of customer interactions and scheduling as appropriate.
- Complete tasks and participate in projects as assigned by the field based Regional Sales Manager, as needed.
- Provide actionable insights and feedback to field partners and team leadership regarding account sentiment, adoption signals, and opportunities for increased engagement.
- Comply with all company, PDMA, compliance, and regulatory policies and guidelines.
- Work independently from a remote home office while collaborating cross-functionally in a coordinated territory model.
- Cultivate an assigned virtual territory in alignment with field strategy and be accountable for measurable business results and engagement outcomes.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

EVERSANA has partnered with Shionogi Inc. to build a virtual team to support an anticipated launch in Primary Care. The Shionogi Virtual Sales Representative will be responsible for the commercialization of Shionogi therapies via teleconference and/or telephone to selected health care offices and providers. - Completing assigned disease state and product training, upon approval, within required timeframes to set the standards, developing a comprehensive understanding of the market, disease state, clinical information, and core selling messages
- Pre-approval territory preparation, including data gathering, and subsequent transfer to field representation
- Post-approval individual virtual territory sales ownership of goals via Sales and MBOs
- Deliver review committee approved education-focused messages, as well as the assigned therapeutics area disease-state information to selected HCPs.
- Partner with existing Shionogi employees to build and execute approved business plans.
- Enhance HCP awareness of Shionogi’s product(s) and clinical data, equip HCPs with appropriate tools to facilitate a robust clinical conversation, enabling them to teach their patients about the assigned therapeutic area.
- Increase awareness of the assigned therapeutic area and build HCP trust, knowledge, and confidence in identifying possible treatment gaps in appropriate patient groups.
- Expected to achieve call activity and adherence goals, as well as brand performance objectives set forth by the Client compliantly and effectively
- Ensure that any sample and literature requests are generated accurately and perform appropriate follow up and investigation on shipments as needed
- Maintain database entries on targeted customer calls including attempts, product discussions, literature requests, and sample requests, if any
- Provide feedback and recommendations to team leadership on areas and opportunities for improvement
- Comply with all company, PDMA, compliance and regulatory policies and guidelines

Position Summary:
The Entry-Level Account Manager supports the Sales strategy by managing day-to-day interactions with existing customers while learning the fundamentals of account management in a manufacturing environment.
This role focuses on protecting the existing core business and develop a basic understanding of customer ordering behavior, product offerings, pricing structures, and internal systems, while providing responsive and professional customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain regular contact with assigned customer accounts to support ongoing relationships.
- Assist customers with product requests and basic account needs.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and order status.
- Research and understand customer ordering patterns, preferences, and purchasing history.
- Learn and maintain knowledge of customer-specific products, pricing, and configurations.
- Support product quoting by gathering required information, and prepare preliminary quotes.
- Learn pallet configuration requirements to ensure accurate ordering, packaging, and shipping.
- Utilize CRM and ERP systems to manage customer information, orders, and communications.
- Maintain accurate customer records, notes, and follow-up tasks within internal systems.
- Assist with order entry as needed
- Review, vet, and qualify inbound leads
- Qualified leads shall be passed to Business Development Manager for HOT prospects
- Act as back-up Supply Chain Administrator, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in customer service, sales support, account coordination, or a related role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone and email presence.
- Ability to learn and understand manufactured products, pricing structures, and customer-specific requirements.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Ability to navigate and accurately input data into CRM and ERP systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
