This position is responsible for all functions for the assigned unit in the PDC. This includes Receiving, Picking, Staging, Packing and Preparations for Shipping.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Lift a minimum 50lbs. Operate material handling equipment to move materials throughout the PDC (i.e. stock picker propane forklift)
- Operate hand held Bar Code Scanner and /or P.C. to receive or release orders
- Ensure material that is received, stored, moved, picked and packed is correct according to order type (purchase order, sales order, transfer)
- Ensure proper handling of parts and materials must be maintained by all areas throughout the PDC to deliver an undamaged product to our customers

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists the Director of Marketing in supporting the marketing and sales plan tactics and initiatives for Scioto Properties to meet quarterly goals and Scioto business objectives.
- Provides creative content and planning to support regular updates to the website, blog (Scioto News), social media, and events (conferences).
- Plans, builds, and manages multi-channel campaigns (email, LinkedIn, YouTube, programmatic, PRNewswire, etc.) including writing clear copy, content creation, scheduling, and performance optimization.
- Completes and maintains HubSpot Marketing Certifications (Marketing and Inbound).
- Supports marketing agency tactics and goals with creative direction and execution of Scioto brand strategy for paid media (LinkedIn, Google, YouTube, conference, and other digital platforms).
- Establishes relationships and connects with Scioto internal publishers, leadership and external partners for marketing content in support of Scioto brand strategy and awareness.
- Responsible for providing creative content for use in social media, newsletters, blogs, sales sheets, press releases, and other projects as needed.
- Develops, creates, delivers, and reports on email campaigns, including list management, design, performance analysis, and optimization.
- Assists the Director of Marketing with marketing and promotion efforts – sales sheets, presentations, marketing emails, videos, and other areas as needed.
- Develops, creates, and coordinates digital creative for social media content, postings, and supports/monitors conversation on platforms – LinkedIn, YouTube, and any other digital accounts.
- Supports the leadership team on all assigned strategic branding, marketing, PR, and corporate communications initiatives.
- Responsible for internal Scioto communications with brand messaging - Scioto Scoop newsletter.
- Follows policies and procedures; completes tasks correctly and on time; supports Scioto goals and initiatives.
- Coordinates with Acquisitions team and other related Scioto teams to ensure brand consistency and messaging.
- Supports and reports on Marketing ROI and KPIs; builds dashboards and monitors analytics across HubSpot.
- Stays up to date with digital media developments and marketing trends. Works cooperatively with others in the office and maintains a good attitude.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in communications, marketing, creative design or related field.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software including, Excel, Word and Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with HubSpot, Google Analytics, Canva, and other paid media platforms. Adobe products- Photoshop, Premiere Pro or Premiere Rush, and other media editing software programs is a plus.

Job Title: Production Scheduler – Velocity Scheduling System (Bend and Non-Bend)

Position Summary
The Production Scheduler is responsible for planning, coordinating, and maintaining production schedules across both bend and non-bend areas using the Velocity Scheduling System (VSS). This role ensures efficient flow through all manufacturing processes by visually managing workflow, balancing workloads, and maintaining buffer control for bend operations.
The Scheduler plays a key role in supporting production efficiency, maximizing throughput, and achieving on-time delivery while communicating closely with all departments to maintain visibility and control over shop priorities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Scheduling and Workflow Management
- Develop, maintain, and update visual schedules for bend and non-bend operations using Velocity Scheduling principles.
- Manage the bend buffer to regulate work release, ensuring flow stability and preventing production bottlenecks.
- Sequence and prioritize jobs based on due dates, material availability, and shop capacity.
- Track and monitor work-in-process (WIP) to ensure timely progression of jobs through all departments.
- Coordinate with leads and supervisors to balance workloads and ensure resources are allocated effectively.
- Adjust schedules proactively in response to changing priorities, materials, or customer needs.
2. Communication and Coordination
- Serve as the primary scheduling liaison between Production, Sales, Engineering, and Purchasing.
- Lead or participate in daily and weekly Velocity Scheduling System meetings, providing updates on flow, constraints, and buffer status.
- Communicate schedule updates and production adjustments promptly to all affected departments.
- Collaborate closely with bend operators, fabrication leads, and assembly teams to maintain synchronization between processes.
3. Data Tracking and Performance Monitoring
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time delivery, throughput, buffer health, and schedule adherence.
- Maintain accuracy of schedule data in ERP/MRP systems and ensure visibility through the Velocity Scheduling Board.
- Identify trends, delays, or process constraints and recommend adjustments for continuous flow improvement.
- Support the Production Manager in analyzing capacity and planning for upcoming workloads.
4. Continuous Improvement
- Use VSS tools to identify and eliminate production bottlenecks.
- Work with team leads to evaluate and adjust buffer sizes for optimal flow.
- Participate in lean and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance scheduling efficiency and visibility.
- Promote a culture of proactive problem solving and visual management across departments.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum production planning, or coordination experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Experience in tube bending, metal fabrication, or assembly preferred.
- Knowledge of the Velocity Scheduling System, Theory of Constraints (TOC), or Lean Manufacturing principles strongly desired.
Skills and Competencies:
