Information Professional Officers (IPOs) oversee the seamless operation of the global Naval network environment. Their responsibilities include:

Leading the Naval network warfare missions in developing tactics and procedures to realize tactical, strategic and business advantages afloat and ashore
Driving interoperability with joint, allied and coalition partners
Building professional excellence through education, training and certification and milestone qualifications
Optimizing organizational effectiveness through cutting-edge technologies, knowledge management techniques and a culture of innovation
Helping to develop and deploy information systems, command and control and space systems
Serving as a key part of the Information Dominance Corps in its mission to gain a deep understanding of the inner workings of adversaries
Overseeing the work of Information Systems Technicians - Enlisted Sailors (no degree required) who serve as specialists in information technology

Work Environment

Information Professionals serve in challenging roles of increasing scope and responsibility both afloat and ashore. This could include:

Serving as part of Battle Group staffs on ships at sea
Working in C4I/Space/Surveillance on shore tours
Serving on major Navy and joint staffs
Serving in command of key communication and surveillance facilities around the globe

Training & Advancement

Those pursuing an Information Professional Officer position are required to attend Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Newport, RI.

Upon completion, candidates typically attend a five-week IP Basic Course of instruction in Pensacola, FL, before or during their initial assignment. IPOs must complete specific qualifications as part of their training during Fleet tours and are expected to pursue advanced education opportunities.

Promotion opportunities are regularly available but competitive and based on performance.

Postgraduate education is important to the success of the Information Professional. Most IPs will complete a master's degree in C4I, space, information systems, computer science or modeling and simulation.

There's also potential to pursue a graduate certificate, DoW certifications, federal executive fellowships and information assurance scholarships and internships.

Qualifications & Requirements

A degree from a four-year college or university is a minimum educational requirement to become a Commissioned Officer. Candidates seeking an Information Professional Officer position must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in a technical field, preferably in one of following fields: Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Operations, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, General Engineering.

All candidates must also be: U.S. citizens, willing to serve worldwide, eligible for a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance and qualified for sea duty.

General qualifications may vary depending upon whether you're currently serving, whether you've served before or whether you've never served before.

Part-Time Opportunities

There are part-time opportunities available as an Information Professional Officer.

Serving part-time as a Navy Reserve Sailor, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Information Professional Officers in the Navy Reserve typically work at a location close to their homes.

For annual training, Information Professional Officers may serve anywhere in the world, whether on a ship at sea or at bases and installations on shore.

Most of what you do in the Navy Reserve is considered training. The basic Navy Reserve commitment involves training a minimum of one weekend a month (referred to as drilling) and two weeks a year (referred to as Annual Training) - or the equivalent of that.

OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE:

Reporting to the Head, Global Regulatory Operations (GRO), the Head of Global Regulatory Information, Data and Systems (GRIDS) is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive GRIDS strategy. This pivotal role ensures Takeda's regulatory data integrity while driving the adoption and efficiency of Regulatory systems globally.

This role involves guiding and mentoring a team of experts, driving regulatory data quality confidence, ensuring global system reach and adoption, and enhancing efficiency through data connectivity across Global Regulatory Affairs (GRA), Research & Development (R&D), and the enterprise. Additionally, the role leads accurate and timely reporting for both common and ad hoc regulatory affairs questions.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Global GRIDS Strategy Development and Realization:

  • In partnership and collaboration with GRA and GRO leadership, Takeda IT functions, R&D cross-functional, and enterprise stakeholders, develop and align global GRIDS strategy and roadmap.
  • Execute and track GRIDS strategy through agreed to set of milestones, key deliverables, activities, and monitor progress through metrics. Proactively identify and manage risks and issues. Ensure ongoing stakeholder engagement and awareness throughout.

  • Establish robust regulatory data governance and stewardship practices and ensure data quality assurance for authoritative regulatory data sources. Proactively drive data remediation efforts as needed to ensure high data quality.
  • Lead initiatives for regulatory information standards adoption and ensure organizational readiness to meet regulatory requirements, including eCTD4, SPOR/IDMP, and CTIS/EU CTR.
  • Oversee master data management for regulatory data and partner/ drive connectivity with RD and enterprise systems.

GRIDS Data Analytics:

  • Drive GRIDS business intelligence and data visualization capabilities to support data-driven decision making for Therapeutic Areas Units (TAUs), regulatory leadership, and other stakeholders for pipeline realization and post-approval lifecycle management.
  • Provide standard regulatory reports and dashboards and produce ad-hoc and custom regulatory reports as requested.

GRIDS System Business Ownership:

  • Partner with Takeda IT functions to drive the evolution, interoperability, data sharing, and integration of Takeda's global GRIDS systems.
  • Ensure business requirements are identified and adequately translated into system and supporting business process functionality.
  • Support system release management, data migration and validation activities.
  • Collaborate with GRA functions, regions, and local operating companies (LOCs) to drive system adoption and utilization.

General Summary of Position:


As a NOC Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining our clients' network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.   • Pulling and reading Customer Service Records (CSRs)
  • Extracting phone numbers from carrier invoices, as well as inventories from CSRs
  • Opening orders for various products, as well as tickets, including disconnects, feature change,
  • DL listing, etc.
  • Assisting with updating customer accounts within various systems as needed
  • Communicating directly with supervisor, teammates, account managers, and other depts. (as

  • Various call-based projects, including surveying customers/contacts

THE ROLE

The Client Account Executive role focuses exclusively on formulating and executing a sales strategy within an assigned territory, resulting in revenue growth and new customer acquisition. This is a quota-carrying role, responsible for acquiring, expanding, and managing large accounts. A successful candidate will be self-motivated, highly driven, goal-oriented, and methodical. Demonstrated success and know-how across the full sales cycle from qualification to contract close is critical to success in this role.

The Client Account Executive will focus on software and services sales ultimately driving our customer’s success.

This role can be remote-based in the US (East).


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Prospect, develop, and close new business while ensuring we have satisfied and referenceable customers.
  • Sell a complete solution of software, services, and support to ensure customer success.
  • Active territory management targeting specific companies and collaborating with select partners to drive incremental pipeline.
  • Manage complex, enterprise-wide wide sales-cycles and effectively present our value proposition.
  • Work methodically with Marketing to develop assigned territory and target account plan to create a healthy rolling 4-quarter pipeline that will yield sufficient pipeline opportunities.
  • Orchestrate team selling efforts within assigned territory among Value Engineering and Consulting Delivery Services.
  • Demonstrable track record for winning new customers and growing business within existing customers in a competitive environment.
  • Effectively conducting sales both in person and via phone/web with high-level industry executives.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Syniti products, accounts, competitors, and industry trends to include knowledge of our key go-to-market functional areas namely Data Migration, Master Data Management, Data Quality, and Data Governance.
  • Be proactive in understanding customer needs, the industry vertical, priorities, challenges, constraints, and market trends.
  • Leverage executive support for sales strategy, partner leadership engagement, and field escalation resolution.
  • Manage sales cycles against the goal of meeting and exceeding quarterly annual sales targets.
  • Forecast, manage, and update pipeline activities using .
  • Be accountable for accurate forecasting and regular sales performance reviews.
  • Attend meetings, trainings, and conferences scheduled individually and for the sales team.
  • Travel as required.


WHAT IT TAKES

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Business or Technology discipline would be an advantage.
  • Have the legal right to live and work in the US.
  • Ideally at least 7+ years of proven direct and/or indirect sales experience; software sales/service preferred (large enterprise customers).
  • Experience with Sandler or similar sales methodology, preferred.
  • Experience in territory and pipeline management including prospecting, driving, orchestrating, and closing complex sales cycles.
  • Demonstrated value and solutions sales experience.
  • Contacts with industry decision-makers including customers, Partners (SAP) and System Integrators (IBM, Accenture, Deloitte).
  • Goal-oriented, with a track record of overachievement (President’s Club, Rep of the Year, etc.)
  • Highly driven, possessing a strong desire to be successful.
  • Disciplined and skilled in managing time and resources; sound approach to qualifying opportunities.
  • Possesses aptitude to learn quickly and establish credibility.
  • Detailed oriented in negotiating contracts and terms.
  • Strong work ethic, hands-on style.
