Position Description:

The Port Terminal Operations Manager plays a key role in operational readiness, maintenance execution, and regulatory compliance for Northern California fleet. This is a hands-on, high-trust role supporting vessel engineering systems and coordinating repairs in a dynamic maritime environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinate and execute preventative maintenance and emergency repairs (vessels + shoreside equipment)
• Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend repair actions, timelines, and cost approach
• Partner with Port Engineer to develop/update maintenance programs
• Supervise work in progress and ensure timely completion (internal + vendor work)
• Train/coach engineers on systems, compliance, and company procedures
• Coordinate inspections/audits and drive closure of deficiencies
• Support budgeting, cost tracking, dry-docking planning, and emergency repair spend
• Participate in hiring, training, and performance management of vessel engineers
• Work with regulators and agencies as needed (USCG/ABS/EPA, etc.) over time

Requirements (simple + must-haves):

• 5+ years maritime / operations experience
• 2+ years supervisory experience
• Familiarity with shipyards, tugs/barges, and shore-side maintenance/management
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting across marine systems (engines, hydraulics, electrical, fuel, etc.)
• Strong communication + ability to influence without direct authority (“indirect authority” environment)
• Working knowledge of basic computer tools; SAP experience preferred
• Degree: Preferred, not required (experience and mechanical capability matter most)

We are looking for a sharp Principal Air Quality Engineer/Scientist (Environmental Permitting and Compliance) to join our team in Northern CA. This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week in the bay area. We currently have offices in Berkeley and San Francisco but may open a new office based on candidate location. Position Summary:

The Principal Air Quality Engineer/Scientist (Environmental Permitting and Compliance) performs professional engineering work, leading and executing the compliance and permitting functions in relation to Air Quality Regulations and Compliance. This candidate will be reviewing processes and equipment, analyzing permit-related technical and regulatory issues, and communicating those analyses within Yorke, the client organization, with government agencies and with the public at large. The work is challenging, broad in scope, and variable from project to project. The position involves effective communication, decision-making, and time management. The candidate performs other duties as required or assigned.

This is a Principal level position. Positions at this level are assigned to perform the more complex and sensitive duties within air quality consulting. The employee in this position will be assigned to develop business, write proposals, train and mentor other employees, and/or monitor work produced by other employees.

The candidate’s experience and qualifications we are seeking include:

• 15-25+ years of work experience in the Air Quality and/or Environmental industry in an engineering role (preferably in a consulting environment);
• Experience in the environmental services industry focusing on leading Air Quality services:
• Process and equipment review;
• Air quality permitting under BAAQMD;
• Annual Emissions Reporting;
• Air Dispersion Modeling;
• Air Quality Assessments including Data Analysis and Emission Inventories;
• General Air Quality Compliance for facilities in CA.
• Ability to manage and lead active team members on project teams towards project completion within project scope, budget and schedule and ensure quality work product and deliverables;
• Ability to manage successful relationships with clients, staff, and regulators through effective communication and expertise by fostering a collaborative environment without losing focus of quality;
• Proven track record or desire to engage in successful regulatory work in dealing with the SCAQMD, BAAQMD, SJVAPCD, EPA, CARB and/or other similar regulatory agencies;
• Experience working on-site at client facilities;
• Prepare reports and submissions in timely manner;
• Experience with handling highly technical data and technical data interpretation;
• Highly motivated to continue working in Air Quality environmental field and expand their knowledge and experience;
• CA Regulatory/Compliance experience is required.

Location Details: United States - Remote

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-events or offsites. This is a remote position, so you'll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or offsites.

Do you want to be an Information Security Leader at GoDaddy? GoDaddy's Product Security group is looking for a Principal Security Engineer to join our organization. Can you solve large scale and cross-company issues, while ensuring that partnership with the development and operational communities remains in front of mind?

GoDaddy is looking for a Principal Security Engineer to apply their hands-on technical skills, strong leadership abilities, and an eagerness to design solutions to complex problems. You must be comfortable with communicating to stakeholders, performing security assessments and prioritizing security risks, creating/presenting high-quality deliverables.

What you'll get to do...

• Identify security threats in applications and infrastructure and provide remediation mentorship to system owners.
• Join forces with SRE and development teams to find new and creative ways to reduce the occurrence of vulnerabilities at scale.
• Build repeatable/reusable security processes and frameworks.
• Review quality issues and work towards detecting security flaws both obvious and discrete.
• Assist with scoping prospective projects, participating in projects from kickoff through "definition of done" via end-to-end ownership.
• Use your industry experience to own and drive resolution and retest complex security events, policy questions and technical security risks.

Your experience should include...

• 7+ years of progressive security engineering experience across Security Architecture, Cryptography, Network, Cloud, Mobile, and Web Security.
• Skilled in Secure Development Lifecycle, Security by Design, and Shift Left methodologies.
• Proficient in Threat Modeling, Architecture Review, Penetration Testing, Code Review, SAST, and DAST.
• Strong scripting abilities in languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby, and PowerShell.
• Adept at applying security best practices for compliance, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

You might also have...

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Hosting industry and/or cloud Experience.
• Experience in hardware security.
