Project Estimator
We are seeking a skilled Project Estimator to develop detailed and competitive cost estimates for custom equipment, systems, and technical projects. This role partners with Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams to evaluate customer requirements, clarify scope, and generate accurate proposals. The position plays a key role in supporting business growth by ensuring projects are clearly defined, properly priced, and positioned for successful execution.
Responsibilities
- Review customer specifications, drawings, RFQs, and technical documentation to determine project scope and requirements
- Develop detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, components, fabrication, and subcontracted services
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, and operations teams to define solution concepts and pricing strategies
- Obtain vendor and subcontractor quotations for purchased equipment, components, and services
- Prepare formal proposals, pricing summaries, and project scope documentation
- Evaluate project risks, schedules, and technical considerations during the estimating process
- Support project handoff meetings to ensure smooth transition from sales to execution teams
- Track estimate accuracy by reviewing completed project costs and identifying improvement opportunities
- Assist with value engineering and cost optimization initiatives
- Maintain estimating databases and historical cost records
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience estimating technical projects, equipment, or engineered systems
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, or production processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience estimating material costs, purchased components, and subcontracted services
- Ability to develop accurate labor estimates based on production capabilities and processes
- Experience working with bills of materials (BOMs) and cost breakdown structures
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for cost analysis and estimate tracking
- Experience in a manufacturing, production, or engineered solutions environment
- Familiarity with ERP systems and estimating software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with technical and commercial teams

SUMMARY:
The Project Coordinator for Landscape Construction supports the Landscape Construction Division by managing the full scope of backend administrative and coordination functions across all projects. This role ensures projects are properly set up, documented, tracked, and supported from pre-construction through closeout using Aspire ERP and RL’s internal systems.
As a key support partner to the Senior Project Manager and Landscape Construction Management Team, this position brings structure, organization, and accountability to every phase of a project.
The Project Coordinator is responsible for PRs, POs, subcontractor agreements, and cross functional coordination with Finance and Accounting to ensure operational requirements are submitted accurately and on time.
This role also provides foundational exposure to project management and offers long-term growth potential into an Assistant Project Manager role for the right candidate!
Essential Job Functions:
Project Administration & Aspire Management:
- Manage project setup, documentation, and administrative workflows within Aspire ERP.
- Create and maintain accurate project records, budgets, schedules, and job files.
- Process and track Purchase Requests (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs).
- Ensure project data remains clean, compliant, and consistently updated throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support Project Managers with reporting, tracking, and documentation needs..
Subcontractor Agreements & Compliance
- Prepare, track, and manage subcontractor agreements for Landscape Construction projects.
- Ensure all subcontractor documentation is complete, signed, and properly filed.
- Coordinate with Operations and Finance to support subcontractor compliance and payment readiness.
- Maintain an organized subcontractor documentation and tracking system.
Operational & Finance Coordination:
- Partner with the Finance and Accounting teams to meet operational submission requirements.
- Submit proper documentation for billing, job costing, and reconciliation.
- Assist with invoice processing and approval workflows.
- Serve as a liaison between Project Managers and Finance to ensure accurate financial tracking.
Project Lifecycle Support:
- Support projects from pre-construction setup through final closeout.
- Track administrative milestones and deadlines to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Assist Operations Managers, Field Supervisors and Project Managers with documentation, reporting, and compliance needs.
- Ensure consistency and organization across all active projects.
Organization & Process Control:
- Establish and maintain strong systems for organization, tracking, and follow up.
- Enforce structure and accountability in project documentation and workflows.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to administrative and project processes.
- Maintain high standards for accuracy and consistency across all projects.
FIRST YEAR EXPECTATIONS & ONGOING EXCELLENCE
- Become fully proficient in Aspire ERP and RL’s Landscape Construction workflows.
- Own the PR, PO, and project administrative processes for the Construction Division.
- Build reliable systems for subcontractor agreements and compliance tracking.

- Support project setup, documentation, and closeout with consistency and accuracy.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field required.
- Entry level to 3 years of experience in project coordination, construction administration, or operations support preferred.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and operate ERP systems such as Aspire and Microsoft Office tools.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills across field, management, and Finance teams.

Job Overview:
The Process Engineer will support the KDP Spartanburg2 (K-ROUND) Manufacturing Site, reporting to the Senior Manager Operations. This role is instrumental in identifying and eliminating sources of waste across manufacturing operations. The Process Engineer will drive operational excellence through structured problem-solving, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is passionate about optimizing processes, reducing variability, and enhancing productivity in a collaborative, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and eliminate the eight wastes of lean (e.g., downtime, defects, overproduction, motion, inventory, waiting, transportation, and underutilized talent).
- Lead and support structured problem-solving activities (e.g., A3s, 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams) to drive root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Facilitate and support kaizen events, Gemba walks, and other lean activities to improve operational efficiency.

Job Overview:
The Spartanburg operation is a state-of-the-art coffee roasting and pod packaging facility in addition to hosting a full beverage distribution center. Spartanburg is the largest KDRP manufacturing and distribution location. The site will operate on the foundational principles of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance); leverage the principles of Lean manufacturing and harness the power of Highly Effective Teams. All associates at the Spartanburg site will have accountability to both a functional business unit in addition to the full site operation. The site will run on first-in-class enterprise IT and manufacturing execution systems with highly automated processing, packaging, and material movement equipment.
As a Production Supervisoryou will be expected to lead and inspire teams of highly skilled, highly engaged employees and support a "team of teams" and mini-Business Unit approach that will enable our employees to achieve extraordinary results. You will provide oversight and guidance to a team of approximately 15 operations associates and work collaboratively across all functions to streamline the efficiency of production, optimize cost per unit, and deliver world class safety, quality, and delivery performance. Working within a highly automated TPM-based environment, crew leaders will enable disciplined execution of standardized processes through leader standard work and layered process audits, while teaching and facilitating structured problem-solving techniques and processes to drive waste out of the system and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Shift & Schedule: This is a full time position available on our N2 shift working 6:30pm to 7:00am, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Alt Saturdays. Great work life balance! Flexibility for additional coverage outside of these hours, including potential weekends and/or holidays, is also required as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver best-in-class performance across the balanced scorecard
- Deliver upon the site safety goal of zero injuries by leading, promoting and supporting safety culture through behavioral safety observations, facilitation of safety meetings, completion of regular safety audits and visible leadership moments, enforcement of lock-out/tag-out program, and 100% completion of all safety and regulatory training
- Achieve zero-defect performance and improve the customer experience by leading a right first-time approach to all operations, conducting layered process audits to ensure all quality processes are being followed, and leading root cause corrective action efforts when defects occur
- Work collaboratively with maintenance, quality, material handling and distribution center to reduce unplanned downtime and increase machine availability through the establishment and sustainment of autonomous and preventive/predictive maintenance SOPs and TPM programs

Summary

The site uses a High Performance Teams structure to execute on the foundational principles of Total Productive Maintenance and Lean Manufacturing. Each associate at the Spartanburg site is accountable to a functional business unit and to the overall site operation.
As an Electro Mechanical Technician, you will work with internal and external teams to execute varied maintenance, capital, and continuous improvement plans with minimal supervision. A strong understanding of automated electrical and mechanical systems is key to your success in this role.
In this team-based environment, you will be looked upon to train, mentor, and guide the work of less experienced technicians within your group.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute predefined maintenance and continuous improvement plans.
- Identify gaps, breakdowns, and opportunities in equipment and integrated factory systems.
- Drive maintenance and process improvements to implementation or resolution.
- Identify, plan, and execute work to troubleshoot, repair, modify, or install complex manufacturing equipment and systems.
- Work with Stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend or develop plans and designs to fulfill.
- Assist other technicians and technical teams as priorities dictate, time allows, or as directed.
- Complete or assist with special projects and/or other duties as directed.
