The Construction Project Management Supervisor with the Seaport Facilities Maintenance Division is responsible for performing advanced professional and administrative work in managing maintenance projects for the Port Everglades Department. Specifically:
- Oversee water/sewer, stormwater design, construction, and other infrastructure to include regulatory compliance.
- Review as-built drawings, architectural, engineering plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local building codes.
- Monitor and manage maintenance and capital projects
- Manages and supervises contractors and consultants in their performance and adherence to contract specifications; negotiates construction and consultant contracts, amendments, change orders, and work authorizations.
- Review plans and specifications of projects; proposals, engineering calculations, pay applications, permit packet and invoices.
- Reviews progress of maintenance projects and resolves construction-related issues; negotiates fees and scope with consultants. Signs and seals permit applications and drawings.
- Monitor and escort contractors and consultant throughout the Port to perform their services.
- Keep track of work orders in AIM to update notes, status, and pictures as required.
- Reviews bids for conformance to maintenance & construction specifications; administers and manages consultant and contractor contracts for adherence and performance; assists in the bidding process and contract packet development.
- Holds periodic meetings with contractors and consultants to review work progress and manages all aspects of the project.
- Reviews and approves proposals, invoices and payment requests from contractors and consultants; prepares vendor evaluations at the conclusion of projects. Monitor and oversee contractors goal assignment with OESBD (small business).
- Assists in the preparation of new fiscal year budget requests; carries out special assignments requested by the Division Assistant Director and performs related work as assigned.
- Coordinates with internal supervisor, Port Maintenance Manager, stakeholders, including Port users and County Agencies, i.e., County Attorney, Purchasing Division, Finance, Small Business, Risk Management, Operations, Security, BSO, Fire Rescue, Health Department, Water and Wastewater Department, other county agencies, local agencies, state, and federal agencies.
- Performs other related duties as required.

Job Description:
- Manufacturing Engineer role, you will serve as a key execution-focused engineering resource supporting a landing gear Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility.
- The primary emphasis of this position is the execution of large capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects that enhance manufacturing capability, capacity, safety, and productivity.
- You will work closely with operations, quality, facilities, and supply chain teams to deliver equipment installations, process improvements, and infrastructure upgrades that are safe, compliant, and production ready.
- This role also supports repair and overhaul engineering responsibilities that are inherently tied to manufacturing engineering, including development of master manufacturing plans, onboarding of new programs, and direct shop-floor support within a regulated aerospace environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute large CAPEX projects within a landing gear MRO environment, including equipment selection, layout development, installation, commissioning, and production handover
- Translate business and operational requirements into executable manufacturing solutions that improve safety, quality, cost, delivery, and capacity
- Partner with operations, facilities, EH&S, quality, and supply chain to ensure successful project execution and compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
- Develop, author, and maintain master manufacturing plans (master routers), work instructions, and Bills of Material that define standardized, repeatable repair and overhaul execution

The incumbent in this position is a senior leader responsible for driving delivery of a large, multi-year capital program across multiple locations. Working knowledge of construction means and methods, Capital Project Management scheduling, estimating, pay application review, submittals/RFIs, and project controls is required. Professional credentials such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Construction Manager (CCM) from the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) or American Institute of Constructors (AIC), Professional Engineer (PE), OSHA 30 Certification or equivalent credentials is highly desired. The Director of Construction Accounting will be responsible for managing the actual and budget performance of several new Development projects at the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort, including the renovation of the Cove resort. This position will support the company's onsite Development Team in preparing project budgets, executing contracts, approving invoices, and measuring actual costs against budget on a project and monthly basis.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of construction project budgets including detailed cost estimates supported by contractor quotes.
- Work with Development team in implementation of Procore project management system, including creation of project cost code budget template and integration to JD Edwards financial system.
- Review & manage contract terms, contribute substantive input into the milestone schedule, assure value engineering ideas are constructible.
