Responsibilities of the Project Manager include, but are not limited to:
- Project set-up including project “pass off” meeting with the salesperson, creation and maintenance of comprehensive project documentation, and budget setup in the accounting software
- Project schedule milestone tracking including executed contract due dates, submittal requirement date, submittal approval due dates, operation and maintenance manual due dates, equipment ship dates, startup coordination, and equipment warranty tracking
- Manage relationships with Vendors, Contractors, Engineers, & Owners including frequent teleconference meetings
- Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs including change orders and RFIs (requests for information)
- Coordinate internal and third-party resources throughout the execution of projects
- Creation of purchase requisitions for project material
- Comprehensive "open item" tracking to ensure no tasks get missed
- Oversee shop production of assigned projects
- Simultaneously work multiple projects with competing demands
- Detailed review of engineering submittals for scope of supply accuracy
- Distinguish critical project issues from normal ones and escalate them to management as needed
- Review incoming vendor invoices for accuracy
- As we are a small office, the addition of further responsibilities beyond those mentioned, is possible to meet the needs of the business
Qualifications of the Project Manager include, but are not limited to:
- Excellent organizational skills

This role focuses on the design, construction, and modification of pipeline and terminal facilities, with an emphasis on electrical and instrumentation systems(PLC's, ProLogic, Flow Meters, Acculode to Multilode) at the terminals.
The Engineer will serve as a technical specialist, developing scopes of work, engineering designs, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities • System Design & Modification: Engineer electrical and instrumentation systems for new facilities and upgrades to existing pipeline and terminal infrastructure.
Does not need an expert in CAD • Standards Compliance: Apply NEC, NFPA, API standards, and other applicable codes to ensure safe and reliable operations.
• Control Systems Integration: Design and implement process control systems, including SCADA, PLCs, Terminal Management Systems, IT/OT considerations, and hazardous area classifications.
• Technical Documentation: Develop logic diagrams, cause-and-effect matrices, control narratives, and detailed wiring and termination drawings.
• Project Scoping: Define technical requirements and scope of work in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Electrical Engineering: Design low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems, control circuits, and instrumentation wiring for PLC's and Flow Meters.
Currently using Acculode • Procurement & Costing: Prepare equipment specifications, procurement packages, and cost estimates for budgeting purposes.
• Operational Support: Troubleshoot technical issues and assist with commissioning and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR).
• Vendor Coordination: Review and evaluate vendor proposals for equipment purchases and modernization projects.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in electrical and instrumentation engineering.
Experience: • Minimum 5 years of industrial experience in electrical and instrumentation design for pipeline and terminal facilities.
• Proficiency in electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, conduit layouts, instrumentation loops, and PLC hardware.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking skilled Make-Ready Designers (primary focus) and Power Distribution Designers to support engineering programs for major electric and telecom utilities. Ideal candidates bring demonstrated experience in overhead utility pole design, NESC application, clearance assessment, pole loading analysis, and construction package development. Useful design platforms include DDS, Katapult, O-Calc, GIS, MicroStation, AutoCAD, or client-specific drafting systems.
In this role, you will review field/walkout data, evaluate existing attachment conditions, model pole loading, determine make-ready requirements, and prepare accurate construction-ready deliverables. Applicants without utility pole design or distribution engineering experience will not be considered.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or higher in engineering, drafting, or a related field is preferred
