The Operations Training Manager plays a critical role in shaping the success of JK Moving Services’ Household Goods and Commercial Operations. Leads the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs that support operational excellence across the organization. Onboarding new drivers, preparing seasonal teams and maintaining compliance standards, this role ensures our workforce is equipped to perform at the highest level.
As the leader of the operations training function, oversees a team of trainers and manages multiple dedicated training facilities. Acting as a key liaison between Operations leadership and frontline crews, brings training to life in real-world settings including in the warehouse, on the trucks, and working directly with teams on site. This is a hands-on role focused on building capability, reinforcing standards, and driving measurable performance outcomes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 3-5+ years in training, operations, or workforce development (moving, logistics, or transportation strongly preferred)
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering training programs at scale
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA/DOT/FMCSA regulations and compliance requirements
• Proven ability to manage and develop a small team
• Proficiency with data analysis and reporting (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL)
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to executives and coaching production crews
• Experience conducting field audits and providing constructive, actionable feedback

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Training Operations
• Manage the Household Goods (HHG) and Commercial training at the main JK Warehouse locations; ensure facility readiness and resource availability
• Lead, develop, and hold accountable a team of training facilitators
• Design, build, and continuously update all training curricula, materials, and SOPs
• Create and implement standardized LD driver onboarding aligned to JK standards
• Conduct live job audits (local, commercial, and Over the road) to assess crew performance and provide real-time coaching
Compliance & Standards
• Maintain current knowledge of OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, and contract-specific requirements
• Track crew compliance through data analytics; identify trends and gaps
• Monitor documentation adherence across certifications, training records, and safety files

Program Management
• Plan and execute the Annual Long Distance Driver Conference (February)
• Develop and deliver semi-annual refresher training for operation staff (Jan-Apr, Oct-Dec)
• Manage seasonal workforce onboarding during peak season (May-Aug)
• Oversee H-2B visa program training and logistics (Apr-Sep): housing, transport, qualifications, compliance
• Coordinate with Safety on driver development programs
• Develop training programs for new products and services from enterprise initiatives.
Strategic Partnership
• Meet regularly with Operations leadership to review crew performance data and training effectiveness.
• Meet regularly with various business units (BU) leadership to review contractual compliance and changes.
• Master all operational technology and applications; train staff on adoption.
• Update training programs based on operational and BU feedback and evolving business needs.
• Track technology adoption metrics; identify barriers and provide targeted support.

Primary Level Salary Range: $192,800.00 - $289,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. We are actively hiring an Administrative Support Specialist with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to join our Data and Systems Integration Division, working in Northern Virginia in support of coordination and administration Tasks.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tasks shall include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Coordination, organization, and scheduling of meetings. Take meting notes/minutes and meeting attendance.
- Organize and assist with office drills, filings, correspondence, tracking systems, and coordinating office requests.
- Coordinate schedules, generate minutes, and document action items.
- Assist in tracking and managing responses to actions at various levels to include but not limited to: Division Review Forums, Corporate Actions, and Ad-Hoc Front Office Actions.
- Tasking may include congressional responses, testimony reviews, and program data calls.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Thorough familiarity with standard Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree
- TS/SCI with polygraph

The Designer is responsible for leading all design phases for interior projects, establishing the vision, leading the team, and having extensive client interaction.
Job Responsibilities
- Position will be part of a team working in support of a client with a large campus in the Tysons/McLean area
- Design management on new, refresh, remodels, renovations, right size, relocations, rollouts, and concept test projects within the Real Estate and Property Development Department.
- Ability to handle small to mid-sized quick turnaround projects per year, with a typical range of 100 - 5,000 SF each
- Will act as the liaison between the client and the architecture firm
- Coordinates project teams to ensure timely completion of documents
- Develops overall design for the project
- Develop detailed project drawings (schematic design, design development, permit, pricing and construction documents)
- Present and gains approval of concepts to the client kicks off new projects, manage the design process for internal activities and external vendors
- Establishes and ensures adherence to set budget
- Manages overall client relationship from initial assessment of client needs, through design concept presentations and final delivery of projects.
- Review of engineering drawings to ensure they comply with the design solution
- Works with technical staff to resolve inconsistencies in drawings
- Provide furniture layouts, selections, and specifications / Provide FFE quotation coordination with dealers
- Obtain client approval and ensure integration into the overall design
- Produces, reviews, and finalizes space plans for projects
- Extensive knowledge of detailing and finalizing details on projects
- Develops and delivers overall design and furniture packages
- Interior and exterior signage specification and branding
- Ensures adherence to set budget and immediately informs PM and/or client of any potential variances to the budget
Education, Work Experience, Background, and Schedule
- Graduate of architecture, design, or business school: equivalent experience may be substituted
- 6+ years’ experience producing design projects
- Hybrid schedule Works at Client Campus (T/W/Th) and Remote days (M/F)
- Must take and pass a background check and drug screening test.

- Preferred software – AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Acrobat, MS Office Suite
- Extensive knowledge of design principles and aesthetics
