Overview:
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Scientist or Principal Scientist to join the Protein Sciences group within Lead Discovery at a fast-growing biotechnology company developing innovative cancer therapeutics. This scientist will play a pivotal role in advancing oncology discovery programs by leading recombinant protein production, purification, and characterization efforts for complex therapeutic targets. The ideal candidate is a technically outstanding protein scientist who thrives on solving difficult expression and purification challenges. This individual will help shape strategy, execute high-impact experiments, and expand internal protein sciences capabilities that support structural biology, biochemical, and biophysical discovery efforts. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and lead recombinant protein expression and purification strategies for challenging therapeutic targets, including optimization and scale-up (10 L or larger).
- Develop and execute advanced chromatography workflows using affinity, ion exchange, and size exclusion purification on AKTA FPLC systems.
- Innovate and implement strategies to successfully express and purify complex or difficult protein targets.
- Lead scientific troubleshooting for challenging protein production campaigns.
- Contribute to analytical characterization efforts to evaluate protein purity, stability, and functionality.
- Support and help expand the organization’s protein sciences platform and capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with structural biology, biochemistry, medicinal chemistry, and translational research teams to deliver high-quality protein reagents for discovery programs.
- Present experimental strategies, interpret results, and provide scientific insight in cross-functional team discussions.
- Influence project strategy and contribute to decisions that advance therapeutic programs.

Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biology, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 3–6 years of post-graduate experience in protein expression and characterization.
- Demonstrated scientific productivity, including peer-reviewed publications.
- Extensive hands-on experience with recombinant protein expression across multiple systems, including bacterial, insect, mammalian, and/or yeast platforms.
- Deep expertise in protein purification and chromatography workflows, particularly using AKTA FPLC systems.
- Strong experience with protein characterization techniques, such as SDS-PAGE, SEC, DLS, DSF, MALS, LC-MS, and NMR.
- Proven ability to independently design experiments, troubleshoot complex challenges, and deliver results.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and influence across multidisciplinary teams.

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated, independent PhD scientist with strong laboratory expertise to contribute to advancing the understanding of target biology and the mechanisms of action of novel small molecule inhibitors for cancer treatment. The Senior Research Scientist, Cancer Biology will focus on designing and executing cell-based studies to address critical scientific questions that support therapeutic development efforts.
This is a bench-focused, mechanistic biology role. You will be heavily involved in in vitro work and cancer cell line-based experiments.

- Demonstrated commitment to rigorous, innovative laboratory research
- Strong attention to detail and enthusiasm for translating basic science insights into drug discovery strategies
- Extensive experience with mammalian cell culture and aseptic technique, including cell-based assays assessing viability and function using siRNA, shRNA, CRISPR, and overexpression systems
- Proficiency in protein analysis methods such as Western blot, MSD, and ELISA, and gene expression analysis including qRT-PCR and RNA-seq
- Ability to independently develop, optimize, and troubleshoot mechanism of action assays; experience collaborating with CROs is a plus
- Experience with bioinformatics data analysis and visualization is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional teams and lead scientific discussions

Summary of Position Responsible for the Safety, Quality and Cost Effectiveness of the maintenance activities within the manufacturing and building facilities operations in their area. Responsibilities include supervising, directing and coordinating the maintenance activities within the area as well as the direct supervision of Maintenance Technicians.
Job Functions:
- Effectively supervise and guide the maintenance activities of Technicians who are responsible for pharmaceutical production equipment/pharmaceutical facility support equipment and facilities.
- Conduct maintenance in accordance with FDA guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices, Controlled Change Management, and all internal and external required regulations pertaining to Good Maintenance Practices.
- Evaluate and assign work orders to properly skilled technicians. Manage emergency equipment repairs by problem assessment, problem solving and assignment of work to properly skilled technicians.
- Responsible for the adherence, processing and tracking of maintenance related documentation, including policies/procedures, SOP’s, PM/DM reports, deviation reports, change control documents, overdue reports, retired and inactive records, and PM/DM planning schedules.
- Assist in maintaining accurate maintenance records through an active interface with the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) during work execution and closeout for work history documentation.
- Provide training and leadership to direct reports on all daily duties they are assigned with initial and periodic assessments.
- Manage capital and major maintenance projects within approved dollar limits.
- Demonstrate knowledge of 5S, TPM and its implementation in an operating environment.
- Must maintain operational compliance with US and international regulatory agencies and guidelines (i.e. FDA, EU, HC, TGA, PIC/S, ISO, USP, NRC, cGMP, etc.).
- B.S degree required. Preferably in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- 12 or more years of relevant experience in maintenance management and supervision in a pharmaceutical industry required.
- Extensive knowledge of cGMP, FDA, OSHA, and NRC regulations preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform manufacturing activities in compliance with GMP and ISO 13485 quality standards.
- Prepare and formulate buffers, reagents, and solutions according to approved procedures and specifications.

Qualifications

Job Functions:
- Must maintain operational compliance with US and international regulatory agencies and guidelines (i.e. FDA, EU, HC, TGA, PIC/S, ISO, USP, NRC, cGMP, etc.).
- Work cross functionally to coordinate testing schedules and communications in support of the weekly production activities and ensure QC testing and maintenance activities are completed per requirements.
- Perform testing as assigned.
- Schedule and ensure testing of production, raw materials, components, stability, validation, and support of protocol/experimental samples.
- Verify, review, and make appropriate changes if needed, to any controlled document(s) pertinent to area of responsibility.
- Ensure team compliance with all policies, procedures, and site/company regulations.
- Support investigations of process or product failures and customer complaints. Author, and/or review all area quality and safety exceptions and investigation reports.
- Work safely with radioactivity and ensure all direct reports maintain radiological exposure to levels As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA).
- Provide leadership for employees through effective communication, coaching, training and development and provide solutions for the success of the team.
- Conduct daily board meetings to update employees and track employee progress.
- Measure and communicate team progress against individual, team and site goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
- Maintain and promote proper maintenance and cleanliness of the department areas of responsibility.
- Assure compliance with department training and qualification.
- Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, Science or related field required. Work experience is considered in lieu of degree.
- 10 or more years of relevant experience required with previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficiency in cGMP laboratory testing and major laboratory instrumentation.
- Ability to interpret laboratory data and make sound compliance decisions based on such interpretations.
- Excellent communication and experience leading a team.

We are seeking Manufacturing Technicians to support production and assembly operations in a high-tech environment. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and potentially transition into a direct hire role with the customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic components following work orders, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform troubleshooting and repair tasks; identify and correct errors.
- Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to inspect and verify assemblies.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and report incidents promptly.
- Record progress, labor, and expenses in computer systems.
- Receive parts, perform audits, inspect for defects, and support process improvements.
- May assist with computer programming, software installations, and final product detailing.
- Education: Technical diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Technical school education OR 1+ years of hands-on experience.

Job Functions:
- Must maintain operational compliance with US and international regulatory agencies and guidelines (i.e. FDA, DEA, EU, HC, TGA, PIC/S, ISO, USP, NRC, cGMP, etc.).
- Author, revise, review and approve site procedures and policies related to Environmental Monitoring and Sterility as applicable.
- Author quality control EM data trend charts and reports.
- Serve as backup in the absence of microbiology supervisor/management
- Employ aseptic techniques in the performance of testing per USP and Curium Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Standard Test Methods (STM) for Sterility, Endotoxin, Bioburden on drug products, intermediates and raw materials.
- Train new employees in microbiological and aseptic techniques and serve as mentor for new and junior employees.
- Perform Growth Promotion testing, Bioburden, and/or sterility testing
- Prepare and analyze Biological Indicators in support of various Validation and Qualification activities.
- Read plates to quantify microbial growth and subculture pure isolates as required.
- General laboratory housekeeping duties.
- Assist with laboratory investigations including OOS, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
- Ensure a safe and quality-minded working environment through conformance with training, general awareness, and compliance to safety/Quality guidelines and SOPs.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor Degree required (Microbiology, Biology, Cellualar Bigology preferred).
- Five or more years of relevant experience required.
- Previous experience with aseptic process simulations preferred.
- Quality and production experience in a cGMP / FDA regulated facility is required.
