Detailed Description

  • Logistics Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive logistics plans to optimize the flow of materials, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and Texas transportation regulations.
  • Warehouse Oversight: Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping, specifically focusing on the high-volume distribution environment of Fort Worth.
  • Carrier & Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and rates with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and freight carriers. Monitor performance metrics (KPIs) to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Inventory Control: Implement and maintain robust inventory management systems (WMS/ERP) to ensure 99%+ accuracy and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., DOT, OSHA, Hazmat). Maintain a safe working environment and lead safety training for warehouse personnel.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze shipping and delivery data to identify bottlenecks, reduce transport costs, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between procurement, production, and customer service teams to ensure seamless communication regarding product availability and delivery timelines.


Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of ERP (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and WMS software. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data modeling and reporting.
  • Logistics Expertise: Deep understanding of multi-modal transportation (truckload, LTL, parcel, and rail), particularly regarding the Alliance/DFW airport logistics hubs.
  • Leadership: Strong supervisory skills with a proven ability to mentor, train, and develop a diverse workforce.
  • Negotiation: Expert-level negotiation skills for carrier contracts and service level agreements.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to handle complex logistical challenges (e.g., weather delays, port congestion, or labor shortages) with creative and timely solutions.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to look beyond daily tasks to optimize the long-term supply chain network.


Physical Demands

  • Environment: Split between a climate-controlled office and a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment (common in Texas summers).

Summary

The Material Logistics Planning Manager oversees the development and execution of strategies that ensure efficient organization of materials, logistics, and supply flow. This role aligns master schedules and production calendars to maintain seamless coordination across operations. This role also monitors inventory levels, supply orders, and resource availability to support uninterrupted production. Process Development:

  • Establish foundational systems: Design and implement comprehensive materials management processes, including receiving, inventory control, storage, and distribution procedures
  • Create organizational structure: Build materials team roles, responsibilities, and accountability frameworks from the ground up

Job Summary
The Aircraft Mechanic works on-site in Fort Worth, TX as a regular, full-time, hourly Team Member on the shop floor in a manufacturing environment. This role requires the ability to set-up and operate various types of equipment, fixtures, and hand tools to assist in the assembly of F-16 aircraft structural components. Processes include laying out and drilling holes, countersinking, and riveting; working with adhesives and chemicals; and reading and interpreting blueprints, technical specifications, shop aids, and written instructions. Mechanics work closely with Operations, Quality, Inventory, and Warehouse personnel to ensure that component traceability, delivery, and quality objectives are met.

Airframe Stress Analysis Engineer Location: Fort Worth, TX Job ID: #73364 Pay Range: $67-96 an hour 12+ month contract The Airframe Stress Analysis Engineer is responsible for analyzing airframe structures for stress and strength requirements, material selection, stiffness requirements, weight optimization, and performance related to the development of this aircraft.

Position Responsibilities:
* Support airframe structural designs based on trade studies, research, and analysis.
* Responsible for performing detailed analysis of advanced composite and metallic structure using classical hand calculations and FE tools to develop high performance airframe structures.
* Perform static analysis using industry standard calculations methods (i.e.

Bruhn, Roark Flabel, and O.E.M.

structures manuals).
* Coordinate with other engineering, manufacturing, or specialty personnel to resolve problems.
* Apply scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure the outcome and consequence of design, in terms of stress, strength, life, stiffness, and weight, providing alternatives as needed.
* Oversee and monitor product acceptance procedures and parameters to achieve product reliability and safety standards (e.g.

* Experience in helicopter or tiltrotor structural design is preferred, including composites.
* Must have the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to coordinate design and analysis activities, prioritize tasks, and report status to design leads.
* Must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, as well as horizontal integrations across the other teams to complete design tasks.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
* Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis using MSC.NASTRAN and Altair Hypermesh
* Must have the ability to work effectively within a team.
