Job Description

CTE Technician (Vendor Payment & Invoicing) – Onsite | Orange, TX

We are seeking a detail-oriented CTE Technician to support vendor payment operations and ensure accurate, timely invoice processing. This role plays a critical part in maintaining strong vendor relationships by resolving billing discrepancies, improving payment cycle efficiency, and coordinating across multiple internal teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support approximately 30 maintenance vendors through the full invoice-to-payment lifecycle
  • Ensure billing accuracy and perform error identification and correction
  • Analyze QS (Quantity Sheet) data to identify discrepancies and drive resolution
  • Coordinate with Contract Administrators to resolve billing delays and issues
  • Facilitate vendor training on billing processes, systems, and error handling
  • Troubleshoot system-related billing errors and QS rejections (AES platform)
  • Oversee QS approval workflows and manage audit exceptions
  • Upload and manage SES/CATS templates in SAP
  • Run Business Warehouse and CATS reports for reconciliation and payment tracking
  • Apply knowledge of GMWP, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), sourcing processes, and vendor roles


Required Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP (must-have)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Teams, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with invoice processing and vendor payments
  • Experience with timekeeping systems (AES or similar preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AES or TRACK systems
  • Familiarity with procurement and payment workflows (P2P)
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors and priorities in a fast-paced environment


Work Details

  • Location: Onsite in Orange, TX
  • Schedule: Typically 40 hours/week (5×8; occasional 4×10 schedule based on team needs)
  • Education: High School Diploma required
  • Travel: Minimal (occasional regional meetings)
  • PPE/TWIC: Not required
  • Interview Process: Virtual interviews via Microsoft Teams
