• Running various equipment including manual mills, manual lathes, Vertical Machining centers, CNC Lathes, and miscellaneous shop equipment. Set up machine using proper fixture and selecting proper tooling for the application. Machine various materials such as steels, aluminums, composites, plastics, and rubbers.
  
• Writing and editing programs for machine to enable correct tool path, cutting speed and feeds.
  
• Writing and reviewing setup sheet and specifications to determine setup procedure, machining sequence, and dimensions.
  
• Observing and listening to machine operation to detect malfunctions such as worn or damaged cutting tools. Trouble shoot machine alarms, make corrections as needed and conduct routine machine maintenance. Change inserts, cutting tools and location of workpiece during machining process as specified in setup instructions.

What Youll Do

Youll service commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment across Central Kentucky, with a focus on foodservice and retail environments. Daily responsibilities include:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines, and commercial HVAC systems
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing refrigeration issues including temperature control problems, defrost failures, leaks, compressor issues, and electrical faults
• Replacing major components such as compressors, evaporator/condenser fan motors, TXVs, contactors, relays, and motor starters
• Performing scheduled preventive maintenance on walk-ins, ice machines, and rooftop HVAC units to maximize uptime and efficiency
• Responding quickly to emergency cooling or ice-production outages for restaurants, c-stores, and commercial kitchens
• Working independently in the field while collaborating with team members and office staff as needed
• Communicating clearly and professionally with customers to explain findings and recommended repairs

Two Openings Available: Grandview Cottages and Eastview

The Cottages at Grandview are beautiful and modern transitional care units within Senior Services. Patients can stay short-term while they build up their strength to return home, or they can transition to the Cottages for long-term care. There are three cottages with 16 private rooms, along with an outdoor area for residents. This is a great area to gain experience in all nursing skills, including wound care, IV therapy, lab draws, and multiple medication delivery. We are a multidisciplinary team, doing both therapy and nursing transitional care, and we have an amazing collaboration with our physicians.

Eastview Senior Care Center is a Senior Services facility for residents who need a long-term care environment. Eastview offers two treatment areas. Our memory care division is for residents who have some cognitive impairment and need a safe, supportive environment, while the Eastview wing is for those who need long-term care. Residents enjoy private rooms. We are a multidisciplinary team with continual collaboration among all team members, ensuring the best care for our patients.

Job Summary

Responsible for all aspects of employee management, departmental management, and the creation of a professional practice environment that focuses on patient safety, customer service, identification of infectious disease processes, surveillance and epidemiologic investigation, and preventing and controlling the transmission of infectious agents and the organizational mission, vision and values. Works twenty hours a week on Infection Prevention.

Responsible for all aspects of employee management, departmental management, and the creation of a professional practice environment that focuses on patient safety, customer service, and the organizational mission, vision and values.

Administrative responsibilities include planning, coordinating, organizing, monitoring and implementing all activities in area of responsibility and employee performance management. Maintains efficient and effective department operation, which includes compliance with and requiring employee compliance with all state, federal and local regulatory laws, standards, protocols and licensing or certification standards.

Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.

Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures.

Education/License/Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in nursing, business, or healthcare related field preferred

Current state registered nurse license required

One to three years management or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting

BLS certification

Infection prevention certification (within 6 months of signing this job description)
