To support this challenge, Syngenta’s Commercial Team is currently seeking an Agronomic Service Representative for Syngenta’s Ohio territory.
In this role, you will provide agronomic expertise within the district team. You will collaborate with sales teams to position on-farm solutions for growers through our retail channel partners by assisting with the development and delivery of Syngenta products and our agronomic messaging in the marketplace.
Accountabilities:
- Partner with our research and development team to gain technical knowledge of cutting-edge new products prior to registration and drive engagement through GrowMore trial demonstrations.
- Prepare and facilitate training both internally and externally on Syngenta’s portfolios and assist in developing the district campaign.
- Accountable for sales performance by providing technical and agronomic support and training to internal stakeholders, such as Retail Representatives, AgriEdge Specialists, and external stakeholders, such as growers, retailers, and distribution channel partners.
- Manage GrowMore sites as applicable and, with the engagement of the Technical Development Lead and the local Crop Protection Field Development Scientist, execute Sales Support trials at universities. Coordinate trial efforts within the local area through Retail Representatives and channel partners, and develop sales support materials to support marketing initiatives.
- Partner with the Ohio Sales Team to lead training on all key Syngenta products and solutions for locally assigned areas, working with sales teams, channel partners, and growers. Plan strategies to effectively compete against competitor products.
- Collaborate with district sales teams to position Syngenta's portfolio on farms, supporting our go-to-market strategy with retail customers, and provide agronomic leadership in developing campaign plans for the district.
- Develop business relationships with key internal personnel who influence the local market area, such as AgriEdge Specialists, Retail Representatives, District Managers, Technical Development Leads, Customer Unit Marketing Leads, Technical Product Leads, Crop Protection Field Development Scientists, and Technical Service Representatives. Maintain relationships with external influencers, such as key retailers and distribution partners.
- Provide guidance, training, and direct involvement as needed to assist with Syngenta service calls.
Required:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Agronomy and/or related field. Master’s, Ph.D. degrees in Agronomy or other agriculture are highly preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of previous experience, as well as strong technical background.
- Up to 20% travel is required within the Territory

Your key responsibilities
A Services Manager in FSO EDGE RHC will be responsible for delivering and managing tax compliance and consulting work for clients. The typical pay range for this role is $50,000 -$62,000. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position may include a discretionary bonus based on performance.

Strategic Service Leadership
- Defines and execute a long-term vision for the service organization that aligns with company goals and customer expectations.
- Leads initiatives to improve service delivery, reduce equipment downtime, and enhance customer experience.
- Establish and monitor service performance metrics, driving accountability and operational excellence.
Service Operations Management
- Oversees the full lifecycle of service requests, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional resolution.
- Directs field service teams and technical support staff, optimizing scheduling, resource allocation, and responsiveness.
- Ensures compliance with warranty policies, service agreements, and industry regulations.
Customer Experience & Satisfaction
- Champions a customer-centric approach across all service functions.
- Implements feedback mechanisms, satisfaction surveys, and follow-up protocols to measure and improve service quality.
- Serves as a senior escalation point for complex service issues and high-value customer relationships.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Process & Infrastructure Development
- Designs and implements scalable service processes, workflows, and systems to support growth and efficiency.
- Builds infrastructure where gaps exist, creating structure in areas of ambiguity and evolving needs.
- Leads digital transformation efforts within the service department, including CRM and service management platforms.
Team Development & Leadership
- Recruits, trains, and mentors a high-performing service team, fostering technical expertise and leadership capabilities.
- Conducts performance evaluations, succession planning, and professional development initiatives.
Reporting & Analytics
- Delivers executive-level reporting on service performance, customer satisfaction, and operational trends.
- Uses data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement efforts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partners with engineering, sales, and product teams to ensure service readiness for new product launches and customer feedback integration.
- Represents the service function in leadership meetings and strategic planning sessions.
Position Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field desired.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in service operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within an OEM manufacturing or industrial environment as a Service Manager.
- Proven experience managing technical service teams and developing service infrastructure.

Summary: The Service & Sales Coordinator supports customers and Field Service Engineers by using Salesforce Systems, SAP, and in-house tools to manage the service requests such as Startup services, maintenance, installations, including all needed to invoice the Service and Sales orders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

- Manage, submit, and follow up on quotations and orders for field service activities, AGAR MPFM’s bulk sales, and related spare parts.
- Coordinate service execution, including scheduling resources, tools, and other necessary elements for the normal execution of service activities.
- Provide technical assistance to the Field Service Engineer during service execution.
- Review and approve expenses and time sheet reports.
- Direct field service personnel who perform on-site routine services, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Create and validate technical specifications, track execution, and fulfill AGAR MPFM’s wholesale orders.
- Interface with management regarding service coverage and technical training.
- Complete the entire process for service repair orders.
- Coordinate and execute service activities in the field with the Field Service Engineer (FSE) for AGAR MPFMs in well testing operations.
- Process, invoice, and follow up on bulk sales orders.
