Summary:
Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.

Job Description

Munck Wilson Mandala is looking to add a litigation paralegal to its busy subrogation practice in its Dallas office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of paralegal experience in a fast paced commercial litigation practice with experience in insurance defense, large property loss subrogation or personal injury plaintiff's practices strongly preferred. Candidates should exhibit attention to detail in all aspects of work.


Responsibilities


  1. Responsible for intake and case management of property subrogation claims, providing exceptional client service.
  2. Maintain roster of insurance claims representatives, investigators, experts/consultants, and other interested parties.
  3. Assist with the preparation of assigned depositions, hearings, mediations and trials.
  4. Draft and e-file pleadings, including motions, complaints, notices, etc. in both federal court and state court in various jurisdictions.
  5. Monitor case status, track updates, and appearances, providing regular updates to both Attorneys and Clients.
  6. Assist with discovery, including gathering evidence, obtaining documents, and performing legal and factual research. Proficiency with Westlaw preferred.
  7. Assist with document production, including organizing documents, performing bates-stamping, creating and maintaining privilege logs, redaction, duplication and indexing of documents and maintaining exhibits.
  8. Attend client expert meetings, court appearances, and depositions, digesting and drafting concise and accurate summaries, and evaluating damaged documents.
  9. Calendaring depositions, deadlines, hearings, and meetings.
  10. Perform general administrative duties as needed to ensure effective and efficient case progress.
