An entry level position under the supervision of the E&A supervisor or group leader, the Welder I will perform all functions under this job description. This includes all necessary functions to maintain a clean and safe shop. The Welder I will comply with all Company and Safety Policies and procedures in the performance of assigned duties. The Welder I performs tack welding and finish welding of piping systems utilizing both SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW welding procedures. Certification to CCC procedures is required. The Welder I welds vessels and structural components utilizing SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW welding processes. Performs these procedures to meet CCC certified procedures. The Welder I inspects own work to ensure compliance to drawings and weld procedures and makes necessary repairs. The Welder I will operate Fork trucks, jib cranes and overhead crane after training. The Welder I assist in other areas of the plan as assigned.

The Public Services department provides 24/7 support to the Georgia Tech Library community. The team is responsible for staffing the INFO Desk, chat, phone, Gadgets office, and ticket support for anyone needing Library assistance. Job Duty 1 - Proactively engaging and assisting library users in obtaining requested materials. Answers Customer Support Tickets. Assist users with lending technology reservations and instruct on the use of various media and audiovisual equipment.
Job Duty 2 - Use a variety of library-specific software programs to fulfill requests and update user records, switching between multiple system interfaces as necessary; systems including but not limited to: Alma, Primo, Student Information System (Banner), customer issue tracking system (Jira), and various databases and library resources.

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Product Data Bill of Materials Specialist I functions as the product data liaison for bill translation work. They hone in-depth knowledge of product configurations and Bill of Materials (BOM) construction of DeZURIK/APCO/Willamette products. The primary focus and priority of the Product Data Bill of Materials Specialist I are standard customer orders and maintaining engineering documentation while updating existing ERP when inaccuracies are discovered or changes are made.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

  • Screen standard order design via drawings and bill of materials.
  • Read and understand bills of materials and product drawings.
  • Process Product Change Notices for products.
  • Establish positive relationships with all areas of the business.
  • Create and maintain engineering item data within an ERP system while being responsible for adherence to Dezurik Engineering and Quality standards.
  • Run reports in ERP system to check for accuracy.
  • Maintain automated bill of materials generation program with new and changing requirements.
  • Populate related data files.
  • Validate and share relevant data regarding bills of materials.
  • Support daily operations as needed.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


  • 2 years of higher education or equivalent experience in business administration, information systems, engineering, data science, or other relevant study.
  • 2+ years of related work experience.
