The Opportunity
The Associate Life Solutions Specialist helps to ensure the financial security of our membership by assessing member life insurance needs, providing advice and / or referrals for advice, and making the appropriate recommendations based on members' individual needs and goals. May provide support to Health Solutions acquisition and retention based on member demand.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 5 days per week, with the opportunity to move to a hybrid schedule after 6 months. This position will be based at the Tampa, FL. (Crosstown) Campus. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
What you'll do:
- Receives request for advice from current and prospective members through various channels, including inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, faxes and video telephony. Special Acquisitions Team employees will primarily place outbound calls triggered from underwriting work items. Life Regulatory team employees respond to specific regulatory/business needs as directed by policies and procedures.
- Asks questions to discover key information, including life events, and to understand member needs. Documents relevant information. Life Regulatory team employees ask specific questions, often scripted, as needed to complete regulatory requirements and document relevant information.
- Assesses member financial situation and goals. Life Regulatory will refer members to Life Sales representative for advice and recommendations.
- Develops and communicates appropriate life insurance strategies based on individual member needs. Provides basic protection advice and strategies. Life Regulatory will refer members to Life Sales representative for advice and recommendations.
- Recommends relevant life insurance product and solutions and refers members who may need financial advice to the respective department. Life Regulatory will refer members to Life Sales representative for advice and recommendations.
- Motivates member to take action on recommendation(s) and resolves objections using basic sales techniques and developing persuasion skills. Implements recommendation(s).
- Monitors legislative initiatives that may impact economy, society, and personal financial situation.
- Educates membership on implications of economic, industry trends, and tax law changes, as well as USAA's products and services.
- May conduct outbound follow-up calls to complete member acquisition of products and services previously discussed.
Work Hours:
- Monday – Friday / 7:30am – 8:00pm (Central)
- An 8 hour shift will fall within these hours

Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $45,470 - $76,730.
Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.

Purpose of the Job
The Project Manager supports the successful delivery of customer implementation projects from initial planning through go-live. Position Summary
Under the leadership of the Senior Director of Innovation and Impact and Programs Director, the Workforce Programs Manager oversees HACIA’s workforce training programs, including supportive services and job placement. This role manages grant funded initiatives, ensures program compliance and data tracking, and collaborates with partners to help participants successfully transition into construction careers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Program Management & Delivery
- Provide day-to-day coordination & oversight of workforce development programs, ensuring alignment with program goals, grant requirements, & HACIA policies & compliance standards.
- Assist in the development, implementation, & evaluation of workforce development programs serving underserved populations, including training in trades, clean energy, green construction, professional services, & other construction-related fields.
- Develop & maintain the annual training program calendar, including timelines for marketing, recruitment, enrollment, program delivery, completion, & participant transition.
- Ensure high-quality programming by monitoring participant engagement & satisfaction, as well as the performance of workforce staff, instructors, & training partners.
- Implement & manage program improvements, interventions, & operational adjustments to ensure program goals & outcomes are achieved while keeping leadership informed.
Grant Management, Compliance, & Budget Oversight

Position SummaryDirects and coordinates activities of team members engaged in collecting charged off customer accounts. Drives productivity and generates revenue through continuous coaching and development of team members. Responsible for regulatory compliance and company policy enforcement.
This position operates on a rotating schedule designed to support business coverage needs. The schedule follows a six-week rotation that includes a mix of early, mid, and late shifts. Candidates must have availability Monday through Friday until 10:00PM and availability on Saturdays from 7:00AM to 5:00PM.
During any given rotation period, candidates should expect:
- Up to two weekday evening shifts ending at 10:00PM
- Up to two weekday shifts ending at 6:00PM
- Day shifts from 8:00AM to 5:00PM on weekdays and rotational Saturdays
Productivity and Staffing Management
- Maintains productivity standards by examining daily workload volumes, prioritizing work efforts, and developing timely and accurate forecasts
- Identifies causes of performance deficiencies within team and executes improvement plans
- Analyzes team data to identify training needs, potential revenue loss and other areas of improvement including screen enhancements and new tools to help representatives be more productive
- Responsible for maximizing staffing levels that are consistent with company policies related to flexible scheduling, paid time off requests and make up time
- Maintains performance records/reports for team and individual performance and holds team members accountable for individual performance and improvement
Coaching and People Management
- Maximizes the performance of Collectors through actively identifying development needs and deploying the appropriate coaching technique
- Drives effective, compliant collection activities through monitoring, and developing team members
- Maintains desired employee retention levels through employee development and engagement
- Responsible for assisting with the execution of contests and incentives
- Directs, guides and influences staff through effective communication, email messages, team meetings and classroom training
- Conducts formal and informal training, initiates recommendation regarding promotions and salary changes, monitors leave and worked hours for non-exempt employees and facilitates employee discharge meetings with Human Resources; may be asked to interview potential candidates and make recommendations for hire.
- Prepares, documents, and delivers performance reviews for assigned team members; completes and administers disciplinary actions to team members as needed
- Responsible for guiding team members with customer complaints/problems that arise; addresses escalated complaints that team members are unable to resolve
- Reviews requests from team members to settle accounts; refer settlements outside of given authority to next supervisory level if appropriate or reject the settlement proposal
- Establishes and maintains an environment that encourages teamwork and individual efforts
- Promotes site-wide team collaboration and models exemplary internal and external customer service
- Champions and actively participates in company initiatives and processes; change events, volunteer events, diversity equity and inclusion initiatives, engagement activities
Compliance Management
- Monitors team member call performance against standards; receives input from Quality Control, Training Department and Site Leadership
- Responsible for completing required call evaluations within required timeframes; ensures team members acknowledge call compliance and performance evaluations within a timely manner
- Identifies violations of regulatory or other company policies; conducts retraining or disciplinary requirements as consistent with company policy; notifies leadership of acts that may result in litigation and works directly with the compliance department as needed
- Engages in regular calibration with site management to ensure consistent application of compliant practices within organizational responsibility
- Promotes customer service, ethical standards, and exceptional business practices
- Ensures company policies and procedures are enforced accurately, timely and consistently
- Responds to and remediates for any audit findings
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of full-time equivalent, nonexempt employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. May participate in interview processes; training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Professional Experience & Qualifications:- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in the debt collection or similar industry and/or 3+ years supervisory experience preferred
- May be requested to obtain and maintain state required licensing
- Proficient understanding and application of elements of Fair Debt Collection Practices (FDCPA) and Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to identify problems, organize, collect, and analyze data and make recommendations for improvement

The Opportunity
We are hiring a Point of Care Solutions Specialist in our Abbott Point of Care (APOC) Division selling to hospitals in S. LA including New Orleans.
The Point of Care Solution Specialist works independently within an assigned territory leading commercial execution to increase market share and drive sustainable growth. Working in a collaborative environment, the Sales Specialist will partner with internal support team members to identify opportunities and create strategies that move sales cycles forward. The position reports to the District Manager and requires up to 50% travel to provide customer-focused service and effectively support business goals.
What you will work on
- Achieve sales targets through efficient and effective sales cycle and territory management.
- Maintain sales base while closing new business in both new and existing accounts.

As a customer support specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating customer requests for information, quotations, and orders by interacting with customers, supervisors, the sales team, and vendors. A day in the life of a customer support specialist can look like:
- Communicating with customers to receive orders for products and installations via fax, e-mail, phone, or from sales staff.
- Processing customer orders accurately and timely.
- Researching customer order history and reviewing inventory for availability.
- Maintaining and updating customer files.
- Following up on orders in progress and communicating order statuses with outside sales staff.
- Interacting extensively with vendors and customers.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Life Actuary to join the Life Company’s Asset Liability Management Team. This role coordinates, prepares, and performs actuarial analyses required to develop new products, project future results, reprice existing products, and/or determine financial strength.
This role is remote eligible in the continental U.S. with occasional business travel. However, individuals residing within a 60-mile radius of a USAA office will be expected to work on-site four days per week. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
What you'll do:
Performs complex work assignments utilizing actuarial modeling software driven models for pricing, valuation, and/or risk management.
Reviews laws and regulations to ensure all processes are compliant; and provides recommendations for improvements and monitors industry communications regarding potential changes to existing laws and regulations.
Runs models, generates reports, and presents recommendations and detailed analysis of all model runs to Actuarial Leadership.
May make recommendations for model adjustments and improvements, when appropriate.
Shares knowledge with team members and serves as a resource to team on escalated issues and navigates obstacles to deliver work product.
Leads or participates as a key resource on moderately complex projects through concept, planning, execution, and implementation phases with minimal guidance, involving cross functional actuarial areas.
Develops exhibits and reports that help explain proposals/findings and provides information in an understandable and usable format for stakeholders.
Identifies and provides recommended solutions to business problems independently, often presenting recommendation to leadership.
