Product Development Manager | DKNY Sportswear

Position Objective:
The Product Development Manager role serves as a link between Design, Production, External Vendors/Mill and Sales/Merchandising. Each season, it is the Product Development Manager’s role to ensure sample yardage development is in line with our cost targets, timeline and brand material needs. Ideal candidate should have a strong sense of apparel construction, material sourcing and cost and clear understanding of development to production calendars. Must have great organizational skills and attention to detail. The Product Development Manager executes and communicates to suppliers/vendors our fabrication needs against the design color palette. Ownership of the fabric sample yardage request, material data sheet management, and communication of our company policies related to fabric.
Responsibilities:
- Manage fabric sample yardage WIP reports daily and keep relevant teams informed of any changes.
- Execute, update and manage the communication of all new fabric and color mini batch inquiries and distribute seasonal color palette.
- Follow through communication with supplier/vendors and overseas office on materials adopted for development (such as sample yardage guidelines, fabric detail sheets, traceability and pattern copyrights).
- Work with design to populate seasonal fabric cards for design boards.
- Distribute confirmed seasonal color palettes internally, overseas office and external supply chains.
- Review all sample yardage cuttings received against color standards. Request lab-dips on any colors not executed correctly on initial sample yardage.
- Work with VP of Fabric to ensure design team has proper fabrics for the season.
- Review all invoices related to sample yardage development at the end of each season.
- PD organization: This includes but is not limited to maintaining sample yardage seasonal binders and boards, tracking and logging in sample yardage references and managing incoming/outgoing color palette distribution.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in apparel product development
- Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledge of garment construction required
- Strong skill set in Excel required; experience with PLM preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong sense of teamwork and ability to multitask

This role is higher level than a traditional support center position and requires strong troubleshooting capabilities across application, hardware, and store-level operations.

The Position
We’re looking for a motivated, outgoing Sales Admin Support professional who is excited to be at the front end of the sales process. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, and learning how deals move from first contact to closed order.
You’ll work closely with senior sales leaders, support established accounts, and play an active role in outbound outreach. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow into a sales career.

What You'll Do
- Act as a key point of contact for existing customer accounts, writing orders and supporting ongoing relationships
- Proactively reach out to prospective customers via cold calls and email to introduce LIBRA, qualify interest, and open new sales conversations
- Track outreach, customer interactions, and order activity with accuracy and follow-through
- Support senior sales team members with account coordination, order processing, and customer communication
- Collaborate with sales leadership to ensure a smooth customer experience from first touch through fulfillment

Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Retail Operations Assistant to support the daily operations of our retail store network. This role works closely with headquarters and store teams to ensure smooth store operations, coordinate operational tasks, organize store data, and assist with retail projects.
This position is designed as a store management development role. High-performing employees may have opportunities to grow into Store Supervisor, Assistant Store Manager, or Store Manager positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily communication and coordination between headquarters and retail store teams
- Track and follow up on store operational tasks, including promotions, store improvements, and general store support
- Collect and organize store feedback and work with internal departments to resolve operational issues
- Monitor store execution in areas such as merchandising, promotions, customer service, inventory, and store standards
- Maintain and organize store performance data, including sales, inventory, and operational reports
- Assist with retail projects such as new store openings, store upgrades, promotional campaigns, and training initiatives
- Prepare basic reports and help management track store performance
- Conduct occasional store visits or provide short-term on-site support when needed
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin) required
- Interest in retail operations, store management, or multi-location retail businesses
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, or similar tools
- Willingness to occasionally visit store locations as needed
- Previous experience in retail, sales, operations support, or store environments is a plus
Growth Opportunity
