Senior Project Manager
🏒 Locke Staffing Group
Salary not disclosed
San Mateo, CA 2 days ago

Senior Project Manager | San Francisco | $220,000–$260,000 + Benefits

I’m representing a nationally award-winning general contractor with a dominant presence in large-scale public and education builds across Northern California.

They are not hiring because someone left. They are hiring because they keep winning.

With a secured backlog of major ground-up K-12 projects valued between $60M and $100M+, they are seeking a Senior Project Manager who can take full command of high-profile builds and operate at true executive level.

This Is More Than a PM Role, this is about leading projects that shape communities for decades.

You’ll have full ownership of:

  • Ground-up K-12 developments ($60M–$100M+)
  • Financial strategy, forecasting, and cost control at scale
  • GMP negotiations and contract execution
  • High-stakes stakeholder management with districts and public agencies
  • Driving Lean Construction methodologies across the lifecycle
  • Integrating BIM/VDC to eliminate risk before it hits the field
  • Building and mentoring high-performance project teams
  • You won’t be buried in red tape.
  • You’ll be empowered to run the business side of the build.

Who They Want to Speak With

This firm is looking for someone operating at the top of their game:

  • 15+ years of commercial construction leadership
  • Proven delivery of $60M–$100M+ ground-up projects
  • Strong K-12 or public-sector experience
  • Experience across healthcare, multifamily, commercial, or industrial sectors
  • Deep financial acumen β€” you understand margins as well as milestones
  • Lean Construction fluency
  • Strong Northern California market knowledge
  • Executive presence with clients, subcontractors, and internal leadership

They want a strategic thinker. A decisive leader. Someone who thrives under complexity β€” not someone overwhelmed by it.

Why High Performers Move Here:

  • National platform with strong regional autonomy
  • Financial stability and consistent project pipeline
  • Collaborative executive leadership team
  • High-impact, technically demanding projects
  • Clear runway toward senior operational leadership

This is the type of company where strong PMs elevate into regional leaders.

Compensation:

  • $220,000–$260,000 base salary
  • Performance bonus
  • Comprehensive healthcare benefits
  • 401(k) with company contribution
  • Vehicle allowance
  • Long-term stability and growth

San Jose, CA 1 day ago

Senior Superintendent | San Franciscos | $185,000–$215,000 + Executive Benefits

As a recruitment partner representing one of the most respected national general contractors in the U.S., we are confidentially seeking an elite Senior Superintendent to lead landmark ground-up K-12 builds across Northern California.

This is not a β€œkeep-the-schedule-moving” role. This is for a field leader who commands $60M–$100M+ projects with precision, presence, and performance.

Why This Opportunity Stands Apart:

Our client is a nationally recognized, design-forward builder known for delivering complex public-sector projects with discipline and innovation. Their Northern California division is expanding due to repeat client wins and a strong forward backlog in large-scale K-12 construction.

They are looking for a true builder β€” someone who thrives in high-visibility environments where safety, schedule, quality, and stakeholder coordination must operate flawlessly.

If you have led major ground-up education, hospital, commercial, multifamily, or industrial builds in Northern California β€” and you are ready to take ownership of marquee projects β€” this is your platform.

What You’ll Be Trusted To Lead:

  • Full on-site leadership of $60M–$100M+ ground-up K-12 projects
  • Direct oversight of Assistant Superintendents, field engineers, and trade partners
  • Implementation of Lean Construction methodologies at scale
  • Advanced coordination using BIM/VDC workflows
  • Complex phasing, site logistics, and stakeholder management (districts, municipalities, inspectors)
  • Proactive risk management with zero-compromise safety culture

You will not be micromanaged β€” but you will be expected to perform at a top-tier level.

What Sets You Apart

We are looking for seasoned field leaders who bring:

  • 15+ years of commercial construction experience
  • Proven success delivering $60M–$100M+ ground-up projects
  • Strong K-12 experience (highly preferred)
  • Advanced Lean Construction expertise
  • Deep BIM coordination experience
  • Experience across Northern California markets
  • Background in large commercial, healthcare, multifamily, or industrial builds
  • Strong subcontractor command and client-facing leadership presence

You are calm under pressure. You lead from the front. You know how to build culture on-site β€” not just buildings.

Compensation & Executive-Level Benefits:

  • $185,000–$215,000 base salary
  • Competitive bonus structure
  • Comprehensive healthcare package
  • 401(k) with strong company contribution
  • Vehicle allowance / project-based support
  • Long-term stability with a national platform
