Position Summary: The Torpedo Technician II is responsible for the assembly, test, and troubleshooting on the alternator and regulator for the MK48 heavyweight torpedo.

The technician will be an integral part of the production team aiding in component checkout/test, product assembly, and full acceptance test of each unit prior to them being installed into a torpedo.

Responsibilities will include circuit checkout, shaft balance, tight tolerance assembly and environmental testing such as thermal cycling, vibration testing, and external pressure testing.

Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure assembly and tests of a product are per specification and meet all quality requirements.

Collaborate with all departments to ensure that information and data transfers effectively to meet customer needs and organizational objectives.

Ensure safety of the employees and quality of the products throughout all processes.

Continuously improve procedures, processes and methods to ensure quality with zero defects and excursions.

- Ability and willingness to float between RMC and Hopewell campuses and adapt to multiple units, including ED Holds/n
- Strong clinical assessment, telemetry monitoring, arrhythmia recognition, and documentation skills in a fast-paced hospital setting/n
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with physicians, case managers, and support staff/n

/n/nResponsibilities/n

- Provide high-quality bedside nursing care to patients in Med/Surg Telemetry and ED Hold units — deliver safe, patient-centered care as a Telemetry RN/n
- Perform continuous cardiac/telemetry monitoring, interpret telemetry strips, complete timely patient assessments, and initiate interventions per unit protocols/n
- Float between assigned campuses and units based on staffing needs to support patient flow and emergency department throughput/n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—physicians, case managers, social work, and support staff—to ensure optimal patient outcomes/n
- Accurately document patient care, assessments, and telemetry findings in the Cerner EMR system/n
- Adhere to hospital policies, attendance rules, and shift make-up requirements; demonstrate professionalism and flexibility during night shifts/n
- Use strong clinical judgment in fast-paced hospital nursing environments and escalate care when indicated/n

Note: Any RN who calls off a scheduled shift is required to make up the missed shift within the same week. Overtime for make-up shifts is not permitted. If the shift cannot be made up within the same week, the assignment end date will be extended to include the missed shift(s).

Need Specifics: needed for an ASAP start. Outpatient Dialysis Clinic - The expected services are 95% outpatient with the rare potential of providing Dialysis 1:1 in a patient room if admitted. 36-hour guarantee encompassing 3, 11-hour shifts Monday, Wednesday and Friday. There is a mandatory staff meeting once a month generally for 2 hours on a Tuesday. Shift is usually 5:00 am -5:30 pm or 7:00 am to 7:30 pm. This just depends on the census. There are no weekends or holidays unless the holiday falls on MWF. We are a 15-station unit of 2.5 shifts. Staffing ratio is 7-10 patients with 2-3 PCTs. There are generally 2-3 clinical Nurses for 15 patients. There are no education or certification requirements, just an active RN license to practice in the state of Texas. BLS and CPR required. There is no vaccine requirement, but we do have to know the status. Experience at least 2 years of Dialysis experience. Typical tasks are assessments, Medication administration, care plan, and foot checks when due. We use the Braun dialog machines and currently CKG- TIME EMR. Nurse scrub color is Navy Blue.
