The Technical Support Specialist (HVAC) actively resolves the day-to-day technical needs of customers by managing problems and solutions. This position will report to the Director of Service and Aftermarket and is located in Niles, Illinois.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Respond to external and internal customers (primarily via phone)
• Understand customer concerns and resolve problematic issues in a professional manner
• Provide after-hours phone support
• Communicate with customers, engineering, sales, and service management
• Troubleshoot and provide suggestions to resolve electrical, mechanical, technical, or industry related issues
• Document events for future reference and create corrective action reports (CARs) as needed

Requirements

• Associate’s degree and/or five (5)+ years of direct work experience without formal education
• Minimum of three (3) years of process cooling experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic PLC ladder logic, AutoCAD drawings, system level controls, refrigerant equipment, pumps, tanks, and piping
• Ability to read and comprehend schematics, wiring diagrams, ladder logic, etc.
• Prior experience in customer service (either face-to-face or over the phone)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and provide high-quality customer service

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides personal care and escort assistance in accordance with individual treatment plans – including peri-care, grooming, dressing, showering, bathing, toileting, feeding, ambulation.
• Reports observed changes in participants’ conditions to Center Manager and/or other center-based clinical staff.
• Proactively communicates participant health and safety concerns to Center Manager and/or other program staff.
• Demonstrates safe practices utilizing proper body mechanics and complying with universal precautions.
• Interacts in friendly, courteous, and professional manner with participants and their families/caregivers.
• Participates in social and recreation activities with participants as appropriate.
• Implements interventions, as appropriate to training, as directed by rehabilitation staff, including use of mechanical assistance for participant transfers and mobility.
• Occasionally accompanies participants to outside clinical appointments, when necessary.
• Assist with food service delivery and monitoring during mealtimes.

Job Summary

The Senior Accountant supports site-level accounting and finance activities at the Detroit Salt mine, with a strong focus on payroll processing and plant accounting operations. This role is highly hands-on and operational, while also providing increased support for month-end close, inventory and production accounting, and financial analysis.

The position works closely with site leadership and Corporate Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with internal controls, and adherence to Morton Salt financial policies. In addition to day-to-day accounting responsibilities, this role is expected to take on more advanced plant accounting activities over time and develop a deeper understanding of cost, inventory, and capital processes. This position is fully onsite and critical to daily mining and operational activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 100 employees, including timecard review, exception handling, bonus calculations, payroll reporting, and issue resolution; maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards; required onsite presence during payroll cycles.
• Serve as primary onsite payroll resource and coordinate closely with Corporate Payroll and HR.
• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting, with heightened workload and required onsite presence during the first 510 days of each month.
• Prepare supporting schedules and assist with analytical reporting for site and Corporate Finance.
• Perform inventory and production accounting, including daily production entries, inventory tracking, and reporting.
• Partner with operations to ensure accurate reporting and support cycle count and inventory verification processes.
• Manage accounts receivable activities, including deposits, lockbox postings, cash application, and issue resolution.
• Prepare daily bank reconciliations and support cash reporting to Corporate Finance.
• Assist with local banking and cash management activities as required.
• Track fixed assets and capital projects, including depreciation and related reporting.
• Support capital authorization requests and project tracking.
• Assist with internal, external, and tax audits by preparing documentation and serving as a site-level finance contact.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, 2+ years in mining or manufacturing environment
• Experience processing payroll and timekeeping
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reporting)
• Experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliations
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and strong business ethics when handling sensitive payroll information

Preferred

• Professional accounting certification (CPA or CMA) preferred - manufacturing, mining, or industrial accounting experience
• ERP Understanding (i.e. Great Plains, SAP) Currently using Microsoft Dynamics NAV
• Detailed-oriented work style; highly organized and process-driven

POSITION SUMMARY: As a crew member, you will prepare and serve our guests. In this role, you will help maintain high-quality products by adhering to our safety and quality standards.

Job Functions:

• Greet all guests enthusiastically when they enter the restaurant.
• Maintain a positive attitude and have fun at all times.
• Strive to exceed guest expectations.
• Follow recipes and preparation guidelines meticulously.
• Be a cooperative team player, fostering respectful working relationships with management and fellow team members.
• Act as an ambassador for Jack in the Box.
• Monitor product quality and take necessary actions to maintain it.
• Clean, organize, and restock all stations.
• Clean utensils, equipment, walls, and floors as needed.
• Ensure personal appearance meets company standards and maintain professionalism at all times.
• Recognize and adhere to all sanitation, safety, and security policies and procedures to provide a safe environment for everyone.
• Perform other tasks as directed by management.

Physical Requirements:

• May be required to reach, bend, stoop, climb, and/or lift up to 50 pounds.
• May be required to operate/access equipment at standard heights while walking or standing during entire shift.
• Hazards include, but are not limited to, slipping, tripping, burns, cuts, abrasions, and falls.
• Must be willing to work a variety of shifts, sometimes exceeding eight hours, based on operating hours.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
