This role is ideal for a technician who is highly skilled with large-tonnage chillers and advanced commercial HVAC systems.
You’ll support a wide range of clients—including commercial buildings, industrial facilities, healthcare, and mission-critical environments—by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex HVAC and mechanical equipment.
________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Service, repair, and maintain large commercial chillers (centrifugal, screw, scroll, and packaged systems).
Diagnose and troubleshoot commercial HVAC equipment, including air handlers, rooftop units, pumps, cooling towers, boilers, VAV systems, and control interfaces.
Perform preventive maintenance, system inspections, and operational testing to ensure peak system performance.
Respond to emergency service calls and provide timely, accurate, and professional customer support.
Document all service work performed, including parts used, system conditions, and recommended corrective actions.
Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and internal service teams.
Follow safety procedures and adhere to all industry codes, standards, and best practices.
Identify opportunities for system upgrades, improvements, or replacement recommendations.
________________________________________ Qualifications 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience, including hands-on work with large chillers (required).
Strong understanding of refrigeration theory, hydronic systems, pumps, cooling towers, variable speed drives, and control sequences.
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and system schematics.
Experience working with building automation systems (BAS/BMS) a plus.
EPA Universal Certification required.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
