What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • 1โ€“3 years of construction or mechanical experience preferred (not required)
  • Able to meet physical demands by lifting more than 25 lbs, working from heights, bend, squats, and performing outdoor tasks in all weather conditions.
  • Experience with forklifts, skid steers, or similar equipment is a plus
  • Valid driverโ€™s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background, drug, and alcohol screening

Overview

Basic Duties

  • Provide exceptional service to our customers by performing maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs on allied type construction and lift truck equipment.
  • Assist in the decision if equipment needs to be transported into the shop to complete repairs.
  • Establish and maintain service-oriented working relationship with customers.
  • Plan and execute the repair of various pieces of rental equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
  • Complete service reports and all other paperwork before and after repairs are made

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a formal technical training program preferred or a minimum of 2 years of previous related work experience required.
  • Previous experience working on electric, diesel engines, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, drivetrain, brake systems, etc. and possess troubleshooting skills.
  • Automotive and Industrial Maintenance Technicians encouraged to apply.
  • Computer literate and proficient with programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook required. Knowledge of Cat software preferred.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed. Travel between locations is required. The Opportunity
This role is for someone who gets the job done .
As a Dallas-based Field Service Technician, you will work independently in the field performing preventive maintenance and service on ultrasonic humidification systems installed in grocery stores across Texas and Western Louisiana.
This is hands-on, physical work . Maintenance includes thorough cleaning of equipment , which can be dirty. Some people are not comfortable with this type of work โ€” and that's okay. However, when maintenance is performed properly and consistently, future store visits become significantly cleaner, easier, and more efficient .
We provide full training. What we need is extreme reliability, organization, discipline, and follow-through . You will often work alone and will be trusted to complete work correctly without direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (three visits per store per year)
* Thoroughly clean systems, replace filters, and perform inspections
* Respond to service calls and perform minor repairs between maintenance cycles
* Drive to assigned store locations (~13,600 miles annually; sedan or larger vehicle sufficient)
* Complete accurate digital maintenance and service reports
* Communicate clearly and consistently with ARECO headquarters
* Manage tools and parts from a local storage locker provided by ARECO
* Represent ARECO professionally when interacting with store managers and staff

Training & Support

* Paid training : 1-2 weeks of hands-on instruction with a certified ARECO technician
* Training includes system operation, maintenance standards, troubleshooting, and reporting procedures
* Ongoing technical support from our NJ-based operations and engineering team
* ARECO provides all required tools, laptop, cellphone, uniforms (shirt/hat), and consumables

Schedule & Travel

Reporting to the Fleet Sales Support Manager this role is responsible for providing support to the FSR by providing solutions to issues that are above & beyond the FSRs technical abilities. The Field Service Engineer will launch, manage & complete PLM design & release projects that resolves field service failures and drives product improvement change in current and future builds.   • Build strong, trusting relationships with the Field Service Representative team
