Position Summary: Under general supervision, the role is responsible for completing analysis to solve complex business problems. The position may involve designing, developing, and/or maintaining programming code for complex information systems and may be responsible for a phase of a complex information system.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Prepare system requirements documentation.
- Prepare detailed design specifications.
- Ensure QA standards are met within project phase responsibilities.
- Execute problem discovery meetings to determine system/program problems and best solutions.
- Understand business rules and incorporate them into system logic.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document programs.
- Lead and facilitate design review meetings.
- Lead project team meetings depending on project team size.
- Meet with project management to determine estimates for scheduled tasks.
- Mentor other software analysts.
- This is an individual contributor role with no subordinates.
