What youβll do: The Senior Account Manager & Business Development position is responsible for the creation and execution of strategic account initiatives within our core areas of competency resulting in sustainable year-over-year growth in revenues. Responsible for identifying target markets and prospective clients, building client relationships, developing sales and marketing plans, and individually contributing to annual sales goals more than $5 million per year.
This role requires strong leadership and teamworking skills, senior level management experience, and knowledge of advanced relationship building, marketing methods and tools. This position is responsible for building long-term business relationships with core clientele in the pursuit of key projects with construction values more than $250 million. Must have a proven track record of consistently reaching annual sales goals.
The successful candidate will be goal-oriented, organized and diligently perform sales-directed activities required to meet individual sales goals as mutually defined to consistently maintain targeted backlog levels. This position reports directly to the President of UER.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales Strategy
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share and revenue growth.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the construction inspection, material testing, and geotechnical design sectors.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop tailored solutions that address client needs. Work collaboratively with the Sales & Marketing Team throughout the entire sales cycle
- Track all prospecting, leads, meetings and daily tasks
- Plan and carry out business development activities; including but not limited to meeting/networking with current and prospective clients, developing relationships, maintaining and developing business development strategies and working to continually improve UERβs customer experience
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major accounts, ensuring high client satisfaction.
- Timely address customer inquiries to retain business, and maintain the companyβs high standards and reputation
- Regularly visit existing accounts to maintain professional business relations
- Negotiate contracts, service agreements, and project scopes with clients and partners.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with current clients and their management teams by conducting regular meetings with clients to assess needs, present new services, and reinforce value propositions.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor a team of sales and account management professionals, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and technical teams to develop compelling proposals and marketing materials.
- Maintain integrity, honesty, and deal ethically with customers under all circumstances
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the sales team.
Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes within Californiaβs A/E industry.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in industry specific professional associations.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to leadership based on industry intelligence.
- Develop and implement strategies to position the firm competitively in the marketplace.
Proposal & Contract Development
- Work with marketing team to deliver high-quality proposals, presentations, and RFP/RFQ responses.
- Ensure proposal submissions align with client expectations and industry standards. Create and deliver sales presentations that are compelling, accurate, and informative
- Develop, implement, and maintain sales activities and plans necessary to meet annual sales revenue targets of $5 million minimum.
- Collaborate with technical teams to create winning strategies for securing projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10+ years of industry-specific experience in sales, account management, or business development within construction inspection, material testing, or geotechnical field.
- Proven track record of successfully managing teams to achieve business development and revenue goals.
- Strong understanding of Californiaβs A/E market, regulatory landscape, and competitive dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, sales analytics, and marketing automation tools.

Essential Job Duties

About the Team
AeroTEC's Program Management Office (PMO) provides comprehensive, full-service program and project management services to the AeroTEC organization. The PMO Division is responsible for taking direction and inputs from our customers, developing work plans (schedules, budgets, resource and task management, and customer communication) and driving the AeroTEC Team to meet customer goals and deliverables (on-time and on-budget).
About the Role
The Head of PMO will lead a team of Program Managers & Program Analysts and is responsible for understanding the overall project critical path, and how small changes to project timelines will impact work-stream interdependencies. This role requires the significant exercise of independent discretion and judgment in matters of significance.

In This Role You Will:
- Be accountable for the execution of all commercial, government and internal strategic programs.
- Be accountable for the management of overall project critical path, and how small changes to project timelines will impact workstream interdependencies.
- Lead a team of Program professionals to create master schedules that track and report on implementation efforts across Risk Management, Treasury, Audit, Controllership, and Technologies remain to accomplish milestones.
- Build a department structure with appropriate, cost-effective staffing levels.
- Ensure operational performance standards are met or exceeded.
- Monitor departmental work performance to ensure productivity and the needs of the department and operations are met.
- Attend and participate in various management and supervisorial meetings and projects as required.
- Act as an inter-departmental planning partner and consult with other leads and managers on projects and initiatives as needed.
- Manage short- and long-term PMO Department planning.
- Track goals and progress toward them.
- Report status regularly to the CEO, Leadership Team and Board.
- Stay abreast of latest industry trends, update existing processes and implement new processes as required.
- Consolidate all project and program level milestones and dependencies to identify integrated risks and opportunities.
- Lead the team to the identification, analyzes, responses to and monitoring of project risks;
- Determines prioritization of Program risks.
- Maximize the probability and impact of positive events and minimizes the probability and impact of adverse events.
- Lead the team to maintain a comprehensive, integrated issue, Risk, and Decision documentation, as they relate to project timelines and co-dependencies, and coordinate solutions development. Maintain documentation of changes to scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables, and identify dependency implications.
- Manage the team to ensure that the review of all necessary work plans and related project management documentation are completed in sufficient detail to provide for adequate management and control, as well as consist with overall master schedule and dependencies.
- Oversee the development of communications documents detailing implementation progress for Senior Leadership, Boards, and Regulators, including regular reporting.
- Execute regular PMO Department meetings.
- Optimize governance such that information flows efficiently through the organization.
- Ensure executive level information for program health can be quickly understood through analytics and dashboards.
- Regular travel to AeroTEC facilities and customer locations as often required to support executive business development, project planning, project execution and customer management meetings.
The Skills You Will Bring (Minimum):
Education
- Bachelorβs Degree (Degree in Engineering preferred).

Experience
- 15+ years progressively responsible management experience in the aerospace industry with knowledge of aircraft development, certification, and flight test.
- Proven competence with FAA Part 23 and/or Part 25 certification projects.
- Experience in developing and leading Programs Management office.
- Experience leading and managing through all phases of a Program and project management methodologies.
- Must have experience working with commercial domestic and international customers. Government and defense experience is also preferred.

Job Overview
The Senior, Asset Protection Investigations & Training plays a critical role in protecting the brand by leading comprehensive investigations and supporting all aspects of the Asset Protection program within assigned divisions. They provide training across all levels of the AP organization, manage internal investigations, oversee localized external investigations, and review adverse events. The Senior also invests time in stores, collaborating directly with Asset Protection and store teams to strengthen compliance, reduce loss, and enhance operational effectiveness.
What You Will Do
- Provide training on investigative tools, systems, and Asset Protection procedures to colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Facilitate training and support for AP executives and colleagues, ensuring compliance with company standards; serve as a subject matter expert on Macyβs policies and procedures.
- Review cases involving policy violations, Customer Bill of Rights complaints, and Non-Productive Detainments, coordinating with Colleague Advisory and legal teams to ensure proper resolution.
- Lead internal investigations and oversee external investigations, including complex and high-impact cases, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate prosecutorial decisions.
- Support the Divisional Director in executing AP programs focused on inventory loss prevention, shortage reduction, and external theft strategies.
