Overview

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for completing shipments by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area; driving truck or van to and from vendors; completing preventive maintenance requirements on truck and van; arranging for repairs; collecting stock location orders and printing requests.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist in receiving dock operations by loading or unloading shipments
  • Mechanically use a forklift, pallet jacks, or order- picker, using a full range of peripheral vision to operate such equipment safely
  • Place and/or pull stock from storage areas of the warehouse
  • Ensure that the wheels of all trucks being unloaded have their wheels chocked before unloading begins

Overview

The Warehouse Worker Driver Check In is responsible for processing the end of day activity with drivers returning to the warehouse.

Inventory, Ordering & Receiving


  • Keeping all dry, refrigerated and packaging goods organized and maintain an appropriate quantity on hand.
  • Planning ahead to place orders for upcoming new products as well as continued regular products. Place orders with multiple vendors. React to out-of-stock and delayed order issues.
  • Conduct daily inventory of prepared items such as glazes, fillings and toppings as well as “freezer inventory” to confirm dough on hand.
  • Receive, check in and organize deliveries along with delegating team to assist.
  • Oversee organization of weekly “transport” deliveries to shops.


Teaching & Coaching


  • Instruct team on efficiently and effectively executing products. Follow up with each team member to coach on best practices.
  • Train new employees on policies and procedures and engage them as a part of the team.
  • Mediate staff disagreements, follow up with disciplinary action if necessary.
  • Uphold all sanitary standards and instruct all team members on best practices and standards. 


Admin


  • Schedule production team members and drivers 3 weeks in advance using designated scheduling app.
  • Maintain “When I Work” with updated pay rates, availabilities, time off requests, new employees.
  • Lead weekly meetings with production and service teams
  • Keep recipes accurate, up to date and organized.
  • Create prep lists for service team for upcoming days.
  • Create cleaning lists for staff.


Service


  • Expedite donut service, ensuring correct product is packaged for each shop and/or customer.
  • Act as the first point of contact for any physical plant issues, including sanitation or pest concerns, equipment maintenance, building issues, etc. Report all issues in a timely manner to the Commissary Operations manager.  
  • Monitor sanitation log.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products to shops by ensuring drivers stay on schedule.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in restaurant and hospitality management, including GM or equivalent roles
  • Proven track record in full-service, upscale, 5-star or Michelin fine dining environments
  • Strong financial acumen — P&L ownership, performance metrics, and strategic planning
  • Familiarity with the Detroit hospitality market is a strong plus
  • Experience with new restaurant openings or launch environments preferred
  • Proficiency in restaurant management systems and operational best practices
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, though not required — results and experience speak loudest

This is an on-site role based at our 5th Avenue office near Union Square. Candidates must be able to commute to the NYC office five days per week. Hours are M-F from 8:30am - 5:30pm. 


The Executive Assistant/Office Manager will play a critical support role for the CEO and Chairman of the firm and facilitate the functioning of the entire office. You will serve as the primary administrative partner to the CEO, acting as a gatekeeper, liaison, and strategic support resource. In addition to executive support, you will oversee light office management and HR coordination responsibilities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations for our 12-person Manhattan office. 


The Executive Assistant will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion with minimal oversight, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. The Executive Assistant should be a natural leader who’s friendly and warm with an approachable demeanor. He or she will be a proactive, intuitive, resourceful, and technologically savvy problem solver who anticipates executive needs.


It is important for the candidate to have a polished, professional presence and be comfortable and experienced with interacting with senior level executives within and outside the Company. This position presents an ideal opportunity for a person to work at a dynamic family run entrepreneurial real estate company, to be a part of its growth and to elevate the position to facilitate growth initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

Executive Support

  • Provide high-level daily administrative support to the CEO, including managing heavy email correspondence.
  • Manage a complex and frequently shifting calendar, keeping CEO on time for appointments/meetings, prioritization, prepare for upcoming events/meetings.
  • Coordinate detailed travel itineraries for frequent domestic travel.
  • Support the Chairman and Founder as needed for miscellaneous tasks.
  • Collecting and organizing tax documentation for accountants for business entities and family foundation.
  • Support for AI initiatives to be incorporated into daily office operations.
  • Monthly expenses department coding on corporate credit cards.
  • Maintain internal leasing/financial/tracking documents to be updated and filed in both hard copy and electronic formats.
  • Occasional personal tasks to be completed, no more than 15% of workload.


Office Management & HR Support

  • Act as a central point of contact for the 12-person Manhattan office.
  • Planning & executing of company wide Annual Meeting in November with support of COO.
  • Coordinate with vendors & manage invoices, office supply orders & restocking, FedEx & USPS mailings
  • Work closely with COO and a third-party PEO company to help manage employee benefits and ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws, manage open enrollment & new employee set up.
  • Assist with the hiring process, including but not limited to job posting, resume review, initial screenings, setting up second & third round interviews, and onboarding once hired.
  • Planning volunteer days and office activities.


Education & Experience Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct experience supporting a CEO, C-Suite, or senior-level executive.
  • BA/BS degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Notary Public license in New York (will be required to obtain if not already licensed).
  • Demonstrated experience within the real estate industry strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to commute to the NYC office five days per week (M-F).

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and ARRT CT & R certifications for an overnight assignment at an orthopedic specialty hospital in Manhattan.

Details

- Orthopedic specialty hospital setting in Manhattan near Union Square
- CT and X-ray imaging department serving inpatient and outpatient populations across all age groups including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Low-volume, steady-paced overnight shift with a daily caseload of up to 20 patients
- Orthopedic imaging exams performed in exam room settings and via portable equipment
- May be rotated across multiple departments within the hospital or at an affiliated clinic located across the street
- CT procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
- X-ray procedures include extremities, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal imaging
- 5x8-hour night shifts, Monday through Friday, midnight to 8:30 AM

Requirements

- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- Current BLS, ARRT CT, and ARRT R certifications required
- IV Certification required
- NYS Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
- DOHNYS certification required
- COVID vaccination required — no exceptions
- Experience with portable X-ray equipment required
- Experience in outpatient, inpatient, ER, and adult ICU settings
- Must be comfortable working independently in a low-volume overnight environment
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or move patients and equipment in excess of 150 lbs, with or without assistive devices
- Experience with Siemens equipment preferred
