Job Summary: The Health and Wellness Manager (HWM) serves as the team leader for the Health and Wellness Program, managing daily operations related to assessment, treatment, emergency care, and case management of student health conditions. The HWM is responsible for implementing and monitoring the overall Health and Wellness Program to include medical, oral health, mental health, and substance abuse in accordance with the Job Corps Federal Regulations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Organizes and submits signed and approved Health Care Guidelines that include Treatment Guidelines for Health Staff and Symptomatic Management Guidelines for Non-Health Staff.
- Completes and submits required reporting for the Health and Wellness Program.
- Provides student education/training during Student Professional Development Days and/or other opportunities as appropriate.
- Serves as member of Center’s Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Team (SART).
- Responsible for updating Center Health & Wellness Standard Operating Procedures and Plans.
- Prepares and conducts health and wellness staff performance evaluations.
- Conducts a cursory health evaluation of new students.
- Performs phlebotomy procedures and collects specimens as required by National Job Corps Protocol.
- Administers medication, monitors, and follows up to observe students.
- Performs routine medical tasks within the scope of license and documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs and Student Health Records.
- Coordination of Chronic Care Management Plans for students with chronic illnesses.
- Nursing assessment and triage of students with acute illnesses and concerns; implement provider orders.
- Administers immunizations as required
- Leads and supports the Healthy Eating Active Lifestyles (HEALS) committee and activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum: Minimum of Associates Degree in Nursing. Must have active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state where the center is located.
Preferred: Three years’ experience as a practicing nurse, one of which was in a lead or supervisory capacity.
Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of nursing techniques/procedures and time management. Excellent communication and skills, both oral and written. Job Overview:
As a DPA Environmental Driller/Geologist/Scientist, you will be able to develop your knowledge of environmental drilling with a variety of drilling techniques, locations, and equipment. You will be trained by our DPA Team of managers and drillers with Geology and Environmental Science degrees and over 50 years of combined drilling experience.

Job Responsibilities:
· Perform drilling operations, sampling, well installation and abandonment tasks while adhering to all Direct Push Analytical Corp. safety plan, policies, and standards and the safety requirements set by our clients or location owners where we operate.
· Maintains record log of drilling activities.
· Works with onsite consultants for job prep, onsite partnership, post job completion as needed.
· Trains and directs Driller Helpers.
· Use required Personal Protective Equipment in accordance with DPA Safety policies.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer at Quality Steel Corporation (QSC) supports engineering and automation work across the company’s four sites. This role is part of the machine-build group responsible for designing and building manufacturing equipment for internal use. The Manufacturing Engineer supports the full build cycle of manufacturing equipment, including design, fabrication support, assembly, construction, testing, commissioning, and ongoing support. This role works on a cross-discipline team and spends time in the machine build shop and on plant floors during evaluation, planning, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support mechanical design and improvement projects for manufacturing equipment, tooling, fixtures, and plant systems.
- Create and maintain engineering documentation (drawings, work instructions, build notes, BOMs, spare parts lists).
- Assist with equipment build, testing, and commissioning activities; participate in runoffs and troubleshooting.
- Collect and analyze data related to downtime, scrap, throughput, and process capability; help implement corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (layout improvements, error-proofing, standard work, cycle time reduction).

Miami Wiipica is currently seeking a Quality Control Manager (CQC)in Champlain, NY.No security clearance is required for this position, but ability to pass a background check is required to gain access to the worksite.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to ensure the highest level of quality throughout our entire organization. This role is responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes, evaluating existing processes and identifying areas of improvement, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. The Quality Control Manager will also develop quality assurance systems, monitor performance, and provide feedback.
Responsibilities include:
- Act as Construction Quality Control Manager at the work site to implement and manage the project specific Contractor Quality Control Plan.
- Provide overall coordination of the construction quality management program for assigned projects, plus provide regular and timely status reports to the Government sponsor about the status of these construction projects under your administrative and technical control
- In conjunction with the Government Construction Manager (CM), review and provide recommendations toward approval of contractor-submitted quality control plans.
- Provide relevant remarks on Government Quality Assurance (QA) reports or in identified sections of various Contractor’s Quality Control (QC) reports, particularly remarks about critical, definable features of work included.
- Validate quantity, condition and approval of materials on site before the installation by Subcontractors.
- Coordinate a team to review and witness successful testing and commissioning/certification of critical systems (i.e., mechanical - HVAC/TABS/DALTS/DDC; electrical - Pad Mounted Transformers/High-Voltage Systems/Switchgear/Automatic Transfer Switches/Frequency Converters, fire and life safety/fire protection systems; roofing systems and underwater structures).
- Assure quality workmanship in accordance with specifications and industry standards for concrete/masonry/stucco/building, envelope/structural steel/bolting/welding and other building materials/structural systems, as required.
- Attend/witness selected tests and review all applicable test reports and results for completeness and quality.
- Maintain extensive contact with key construction contractor representatives to promote an atmosphere of partnering and cooperation, quickly resolving problems while maintaining each construction schedule.
- Coordinate temporary utility and communication hook-ups for contractors, plus coordinate utility outages and road closures with Government personnel, as necessary. Coordinate lay-down areas and storage areas, as required.
- Coordinate excavation, hot work, burn and other construction-related permits, as required, subject to local restrictions.
- In conjunction with the Construction Manager (CM), perform cursory review of Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) and ensure via the Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) that these are discussed by the construction contractor plus their respective subcontractors prior to beginning each work activity, or when a new work crew is to perform the work in accordance with the three phases of QC.
- With the CM, review and provide recommendations toward acceptance of Crane Critical Lift Plans, along with crane operation qualifications and certificate of compliance. Observe critical lifts.
- Ensure each construction contractor is conducting monthly site safety self-evaluations and submitting the information with pay vouchers/invoices; perform worksite safety assessments as needed.
- Take appropriate, timely action to ensure construction contractor compliance of safety and health requirements, including leading safety stand-downs, as required, and recommending dismissal of key construction contractor staff from the project due to non-performance or recurring violations.
- Ensure reporting of contractor significant safety incidents/accidents/near misses, ensuring most importantly that corrective actions have been taken. Perform cursory review/QA of Contractor’s Significant Incidence Reports (CSIRs) and OSHA Form 300s (Contractor’s Log of Work Related Injuries and Illnesses).
- Serve as a point of contact for Supported Command interface/coordination in the field; including supporting collateral equipment installation and phone/data/communication connections; assist with investigation of potential latent defects; and assist with coordination of the installation of cylinders/cores, keying system, and turnover of keys to owner/occupant
- Coordinate the facility system training for owner/occupants/PW shop personnel.
- Review pre-final contract drawings and specifications (particularly Division 01 administrative requirements) and technical RFPs, respectively. Perform on-site visits to review constructability and compatibility with actual field conditions. During design development and constructability review, provide technical knowledge of local conditions, including availability of construction materials and skilled labor. For any problems found, make solution recommendations for designer consideration.
Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of verified experience as a Quality Control Manager working for one or more General Contractors (GCs) on NAVFAC or U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) projects OR 10 or more years of verified foreman experience in one or more of the following trades: Concrete, Mechanical, Electrical, Masonry or Carpentry on commercial/industrial/military projects. Residential construction experience does not qualify.
- Possess, or be able to obtain, a Certificate of Completion for the US Army Corps of Engineers “Construction Quality Management [CQM] for Contractors” course
- Possess familiarity with crane safety requirements and the NAVFAC P-307 (Management of Weight Handling equipment) specification
- Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and a thorough background check for access onto a military installation; please note the background check for this position extends past 7 years, in conformance with federal law and US Department of Justice guidelines for work on a military installation.

From stabilizing wounded operators under enemy fire to leaping from helicopters and diving with Special Operations teams, Hospital Corpsmen in the Advanced Technical Field (HM-ATF), are trained to handle medical emergencies wherever the mission takes them. As part of an exclusive group supporting SEALs, Divers, SWCC, and EOD teams, they deliver critical care in the most extreme conditions. You might serve in one of three roles: a Search & Rescue Medical Technician, a Dive Medical Technician or as a Special Operations Independent Duty Corpsman.

SPECIAL OPERATIONS CORPSMAN: CAREER DETAILS & REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities
Those in the Hospital Corpsman Advanced Technical Field go beyond the duties of basic Hospital Corpsman, working in austere and challenging environments while saving lives. Each of the three classifications has its own responsibilities:
Special Operations Independent Duty Corpsman (SOIDC)
- Provide advanced medical care and operational services for Marine Reconnaissance, USMC Special Operations Forces and Navy Special Operations Command personnel, like SWCC and SEALs
- Engage as a team member in direct action, special reconnaissance, foreign internal defense and unconventional warfare
Search and Rescue Medical Technician (SMT)
- Rescue patients and deliver emergency care from the back of a helicopter
- Perform aircrew duties and En Route Care (ERC) for routine illness and emergent patients
- Provide relief and assistance in areas ravaged by catastrophic natural disasters
- Support Search and Rescue (SAR), tactical evacuation (TECEVAC), Medical Evacuation (MEDEVAC), casualty evacuation (CASEVAC) and Combat Search & Rescue (CSAR) for Navy and Marine Corps Aviation
Deep Sea Diving Medical Technician (DMT)
- Provide basic medicine and assist medics in prevention and treatment of diving related illnesses, injuries associated with deep sea diving and hyperbaric conditions
- Operate, test and repair all Navy diving equipment
- Perform underwater inspections, harbor/port/ship security inspections, conduct ordnance searches, rescue personnel, engage in special warfare and small boat operations
- Operate Swimmer Delivery Vehicle Dry-Deck Shelter system and submarine Lock-in/Lock-out systems
Work Environment
As a Hospital Corpsman, you have the most diverse range of work environments in the Navy. Your job will likely take you all over the world-and far out of your comfort zone. If you choose to go the Hospital Corpsman Advanced Technical Field route, you will work in extreme and sometimes precarious conditions. From deep-sea diving to combat missions to flying in MH-60 Romeo helicopters, you will train outside the realm of conventional military forces to prepare for any mission. You may work independent of a physician or under supervision in this program.
Training & Advancement
Upon completion of initial training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes (known as Boot Camp), you'll report for specialized training including:
Hospital Corps "A" School (19 weeks) in San Antonio, Texas for training on basic principles and techniques of patient care and first aid procedures.
After "A" School, HM-ATF candidates track to one of three advanced training paths:
- Special Operations Independent Duty Corpsman Pipeline (121 weeks)
Areas of training include but are not limited to basic reconnaissance, airborne operations, combatant diving, demolitions, clinical diagnostics, advanced trauma skills, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), basic surgical anesthesia, basic veterinary medicine and basic dental exams. - Search and Rescue Medical Tech Pipeline (27 weeks)
Areas of training include but are not limited to advanced fluid resuscitation, administration and management of Advanced Life Support medications, use of emergency medical equipment, rescue and recovery devices and patient handling. - Medical Deep Sea Diving Tech Pipeline (28 weeks)
Areas of training include but are not limited to diving physics, scuba and surface-supplied air diving, recognition and treatment of diving related illnesses.
After completing your pipeline, you'll receive your first assignment. You'll go wherever you're needed, which can be anywhere in the world. Automatic promotion opportunities are available but are competitive and based on completion of pipeline.
Post-Service Opportunities
There's no better way to begin a successful career in health care than by serving in the medical support division of America's Navy. Specialized training received and work experience gained in the course of service can lead to valuable credentialing and occupational opportunities in related fields in the civilian world, such as Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Home Health Aide, Anesthesiologist Assistant and more.
Education Opportunities
Beyond offering access to professional credentials and certifications, Navy technical and operational training in the medical field can translate to credit hours toward a bachelor's or associate degree through the American Council on Education.
You may also continue your education through undergraduate degree opportunities like the Navy College Program and Tuition Assistance and the Post-9/11 GI Bill.
Qualifications & Requirements
A high-school diploma or equivalent is required to become an Enlisted Sailor. Those seeking a position as a Hospital Corpsman must be U.S. citizens.
While no college degree is required to apply for a position as a Hospital Corpsman Advanced Technical Field, a high degree of difficulty should be expected. Entry Requirements include:
- Vision correctable to 20/20
- Normal color perception
- Pass a physical examination
- 28 years of age or younger
- U.S. citizen eligible for security clearance
In addition to strong communication, writing and arithmetic skills, you should also have a genuine interest in providing health care, along with good use of your hands and strong physical stamina.
