Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Set up the appropriate machine and related equipment such as jigs, fixtures, boring heads and rotary tables.
Selects appropriate cutting tools, installs and aligns them in the machine
Reads blueprints and specifications to determine appropriate machining approach
Operates various machines controlling speed and feed
Checks dimensions at various stages using precision mechanical measurement equipment and laser inspection equipment (FARO Laser Trackers)
Qualifications Required for the Position
Minimum 3 years of machining experience. CNC machining experience is preferred.
Experience with Siemens 840D controllers and laser tracking inspection equipment a plus
Machined & Fabricated Buyer is responsible for sourcing, quoting, and purchasing machined and fabricated parts while developing supplier relationships and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Source, purchase, and negotiate pricing for machined and fabricated components
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Obtain, evaluate, and compare supplier quotes and estimates
- Perform cost and labor analysis for machined/fabricated parts
- Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to ensure supplier alignment
- Develop supplier relationships and monitor performance on quality, cost, delivery, and capability

- Maintain accurate purchasing data and documentation within ERP systems

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business (required)
- 3+ years of purchasing and/or sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude; familiarity with machining or fabrication processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Under the direction of the supervisor, operate machines, tools, and equipment in the Mill Room to complete orders to the highest quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Machine material to meet part specifications utilizing work instructions and/or patterns.
- Ensures accurate completion of paperwork; verify part quality and quantities.
- Setup and operate a variety of saws, drill press, CNC machines, hand drills and other hand tools.
- May operate forklift if certified.
- Follow part specifications to produce machined parts by setting up and operating a CNC machine.
- Follows all work orders provided by management.
- Remains compliant with housekeeping standards and all safety and work rules and regulations.
- Recommends new and better processes, and methods where possible to manager.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and debris free work area.
- May perform some assembly.
- Must have the ability to identify and resolve problems in an efficient manner.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Specific Responsibilities:
- With minimum assistance from Lead, the operator will perform all standard set up within standard time on router; operating, troubleshooting, and machine service as required.
- Adjust machining parts, tooling, including sharpening tools on surface grinders or pedestal grinders.
- Set-up and operation of equipment - Multiple Spindle (Davenport/Chucker).
- Responsible for producing and maintaining high level quality parts per print specifications.
- Work with various types of material such as Titanium, Aluminum, and other stainless steel.
- Perform first piece verification process per part print as required.
- Run multiple machines as required which maintaining high quality parts, efficiency, and productivity per standard time on router.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance per daily schedule.
- Take initiative to perform daily 5S in assigned area and machinery.
- Active involvement in autonomous maintenance and process improvements initiatives.
- Understand and perform statistical process control.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet facility goals.
- Follow EHS Policies, Procedures, and report all incidents/injuries immediately.
