Responsibilities:

• Responsible for setup and management of Revit BIM models in coordination with other discipline BIM leads and team members.
• Using a mixture of the Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD software platforms you will create and manage content towards fully coordinated 3D models across all design disciplines (C,S,A,M,E,P,T,I,L) as well as creating 2D construction drawings.

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• At least 8 years of Revit BIM design experience
• Proficiency with NavisWorks
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in telecommunications systems design and construction industry
• Understanding of how codes and standards shape design decisions
• Understanding of design and construction specifications and their function
• Understanding of wiring/cabling connections in relation to a circuit or a link between devices and equipment
• Experience following client design and modeling standards
• Proficiency with Bluebeam or similar markup software
• Ability to estimate hours required for design and modeling efforts based on provided markups and/or verbal direction requests
• At least 6 years of Revit MEP design experience
• Knowledge & application of telecommunications industry association (TIA) standards
• Knowledge and design experience of semiconductor and/or advance facility environments
• Knowledge and design experience with paging, intercom, and audio-visual systems
• Knowledge and design experience with life safety and security systems, fire alarm, access control, closed-circuit television (CCTV)

Machined & Fabricated Buyer is responsible for sourcing, quoting, and purchasing machined and fabricated parts while developing supplier relationships and driving continuous improvement. You will support cost reduction initiatives, evaluate supplier capabilities, and ensure the quality and reliability of critical components used in production.

This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, experience in a manufacturing environment, and an interest in long-term strategic procurement work.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, purchase, and negotiate pricing for machined and fabricated components
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Obtain, evaluate, and compare supplier quotes and estimates
• Perform cost and labor analysis for machined/fabricated parts
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to ensure supplier alignment
• Develop supplier relationships and monitor performance on quality, cost, delivery, and capability
• Support make/buy decisions, process improvements, and new product/component launches
• Maintain accurate purchasing data and documentation within ERP systems
• Drive strategic initiatives including cost savings, risk mitigation, and supplier consolidation
• Support sourcing for components involving bearings, motors, and other mechanical assemblies
• Work fully onsite in Lynchburg to collaborate with cross-functional manufacturing teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business (required)
• 3+ years of purchasing and/or sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude; familiarity with machining or fabrication processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• APICS or Supply Chain Management certification preferred
• Strong communication, negotiation, and supplier management skills
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and work onsite in Lynchburg, VA

Preferred Background (Highly Attractive)

• Prior machinist, tool & die, or machine shop experience
• Background in estimating or quoting machined parts
• Experience with bearings, motors, and mechanical components
• Technical buyer, estimator, or strategic sourcing specialist experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Quality team, fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
• Own and maintain the AS9100-compliant QMS, ensuring audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as primary point of contact during customer and regulatory audits.
• Drive root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, CORE).

We have a contract to direct position for a Machine Design Engineer available. Candidate will be working on the design of automated components, palletizers, conveyor systems, pick/place units, robotics, servos and tooling would be a plus. This position would be working from concept to production. Candidate must have experience with Solidworks. SolidEdge experience will also be accepted. Ideal candidate will have experience in the food processing or food packaging industry. Bachelors degree in Engineering is a plus.
