Our carrier sales team plays a critical role in supporting our asset network by securing capacity for out-of-network freight and building strong partnerships with interline partners.
Position Summary
The Carrier Sales Representative is responsible for sourcing and managing carrier capacity to support Go2 Logistics’ asset-based LTL network. This role focuses on selling out of network freight and developing strong relationships with interline carrier partners that help extend our network and maintain service reliability.
The ideal candidate is highly competitive, relationship driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced brokerage environment where daily communication, negotiation, and execution are critical to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and secure carrier capacity to cover overflow freight from the Go2 Logistics asset network
- Develop and manage relationships with interline carrier partners to support network coverage
- Negotiate rates with carriers while maintaining profitability and service standards
- Coordinate daily with internal operations, dispatch, and customer teams to ensure freight coverage
- Monitor market conditions and adjust carrier strategy accordingly
- Track carrier performance including service, communication, and reliability
- Expand the carrier network by onboarding new carrier partners in key markets
- Resolve service issues quickly while maintaining strong carrier relationships
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of experience in freight brokerage or carrier sales preferred
- Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
- Experience using TMS platforms and load boards is a plus

As a Manager, Operations aligned to our Carrier Procurement team in Brokerage at RXO, you'll manage all procurement functions, including developing new carrier sources, conducting bids, and selecting carriers. What your day-to-day will look like:
- Act as the liaison between carrier operations management and RXO associates, and partner with all functions of the business
- Lead mode-specific teams of procurement managers, including setting performance targets and continuously providing feedback regarding actual performance in comparison to targets
- Own all procurement-related activities for specific modes across multiple accounts
- Help set strategy around mode buying and leveraging; develop key initiatives, best practices, and processes within the team
- Support the growth of new customers and the expansion of existing customers
- Collaborate with Customer and Account Management teams to create solutions that meet service and cost levels
- Determine carrier rates and KPI's; analyze rates and make decisions on awards while remaining compliant with the overall sourcing strategy
- Analyze all lanes and rates to ensure equity

- Negotiate volume discounts with carriers where applicable
- Prepare bids and quotes on single and project shipments for domestic/international business; analyze job costs to ensure bids and quotes provide desirable profit margins
What you'll need to excel:
At a minimum, you'll need:
- 4 years of experience in the transportation / logistics industry
It'd be great if you also have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 5 years of experience in carrier procurement with an emphasis on carrier rate negotiations
- In-depth knowledge of carrier operations, including, FTL and LTL

As a New Home Project Manager, You Will:
- Collaborate with the New Home Senior Project Manager in preparing and obtaining home site surveys.
- Researching home setbacks at the local level (city and county).
- Managing and tracking the shipping, arrival, and setup of new homes.
- Assess existing home sites to determine what site prep will be required.
- Assist communities in managing the receipt of new homes, the setup of new homes, and vendor setup.

Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of project management or similar experience, preferred but not required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; HS Diploma or GED required.

JOB SUMMARY
