The Role We Want You For
As the Project Engineer (Mechanical Procurement), you will support the CDC team in developing competitive HVAC/mechanical estimates and procurement plans, sourcing equipment and materials, and building relationships with manufacturers, reps, and subcontract partners. You will work closely with Clayco project teams, design partners, and the technical group to confirm specified systems meet performance requirements, project standards, and budget. You will help identify lead-time risks early and contribute to winning work through accurate takeoffs, pricing, and value options.
The Specifics of the Role
- Perform mechanical/HVAC takeoffs and quantity surveys (major HVAC equipment and other mechanical equipment and systems) and develop detailed procurement estimates.
- Solicit, level, and validate supplier/manufacturer quotes; confirm scope, inclusions/exclusions, alternates, and delivery assumptions.
- Support intercompany sales efforts by engaging OEMs, reps, and distributors, maintaining pricing intelligence, and helping identify new procurement opportunities.
- Evaluate bills of material for completeness and accuracy; flag gaps, long-lead items, and coordination concerns (power, controls, structural, seismic, space/clearances).
- Assist with contract review from a procurement perspective (commercial terms, freight, taxes, escalation, liquidated damages, warranty, service/startup).
- Gather and prepare submittal packages (equipment schedules, cut sheets, performance data, controls narratives) and track reviews/returns to keep the buyout schedule on track.
- Create purchase requisitions / product lists and support purchase order and change order preparation with clear scope and quantities.
- Track orders and logistics (lead times, releases, fabrication, shipping, storage); coordinate with the project team on site constraints and delivery windows.
- Maintain procurement documentation (quote logs, bid tabs, vendor correspondence) and support closeout deliverables as assigned (warranties, O&M manuals, spare parts).
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of mechanical construction and HVAC systems/equipment; able to read plans/specs and speak the language of engineers, contractors, and OEMs.
- 5+ years of procurement experience preferred; or equivalent combination of mechanical/HVAC field, estimating, or project support experience with demonstrated procurement capability.
- Experience with estimating/takeoffs, bid leveling, and vendor communication; detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
- Working knowledge of construction fundamentals, coordination practices, and project documentation (submittals, RFIs, change orders).
- Comfortable negotiating with suppliers and understanding commercial terms; proficient with Excel and procurement/PM tools.

The Plate Roll Operator is responsible for operating equipment that shapes and forms curves into metal plates or rolls the plate into cylinders while being supported by overhead cranes.

The Role We Want You For
The MEP Project Manager role is to provide quality control for mechanical, electrical, plumbing design, bidding, and construction for Clayco projects. This includes development of MEP scope documents, MEP bid package development at very early stages of scope development, and subcontractor negotiations. This role also provides document review / leadership to design team and clients, responds to scope modification evaluations during construction, and is the sounding board between original scope and field scope. The Specifics of the Role

Requirements

- Know plumbing and fire protection field and Commissioning requirements through experience and supplemental training courses.
- Know electrical systems basics and have a good working knowledge of NEC for field reviews and Commissioning requirements/testing.
- Solid/strong working knowledge/experience/background of control systems, BACNet, Tridium networks, and overall “systems” functional testing sequences, steps, procedures, and integration.
- Knowledge of air and water testing/adjusting/balancing procedures and expectations.

- Good understanding of Specifications Divisions and where to go in the various sections in coordinating responsibilities and various testing and documentation requirements of the project.
- Understanding of the many common Codes for Building, Plumbing, NFPA (fire, electrical, etc.), Mechanical, and Life Safety.
- Strong working knowledge relationship with computers, laptops, iPad type instruments, Microsoft Office, various M/E industry “Apps”.
- Comfortable using common field-testing equipment such as infrared cameras, light meters, IAQ meters, etc.

The Senior Mechanical Preconstruction Engineer will participates in all aspects of the preconstruction process for HVAC and Plumbing systems to develop accurate, detailed cost estimates with a focus on heavy/ advanced manufacturing, industrial and mission critical projects. This role will expected to interact with engineers, architects, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, a multi-discipline estimating team, project supervision, and field personnel.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Periodically attend pre-bid meetings to become familiar with unique project requirements and analyze existing site conditions to determine required scope that is not already indicated
- Review and interpret project documents to determine job-specific material, equipment, and labor requirements for scope development
- Assist in preparing written scopes of work for subcontracts and suppliers and coordinating mechanical scopes with the work of other trades (e.g., civil, structural, architectural, electrical, etc.)
- Participate in pre-proposal design coordination meetings to support the development of pricing documents for conceptual estimates
- Perform quantity survey of mechanical systems and components using digitized software, and apply industry standard labor rates (e.g., MCAA, PHCC, etc.) to support the development of accurate cost estimates
- Evaluate vendor and subcontractor for conformance with proposal requirements; level scopes and identify low cost/ best value responses while capturing assumptions, rationale, inclusions, exclusions, etc.
- Assist in the preparation of estimates used for bidding and budgeting purposes (including self-performed work); participate in internal estimate review process and assist with final recap of estimate for presentation to senior management
- Support project management tasks, including budgeting, schedule development, interim design review, change order pricing, procurement, value engineering, and vendor selection based on proposal development
- Coordinate with project teams to evaluate productivity for historical data and schedule/ cost forecasting purposes
- Perform quantity survey of completed designs and/ or past projects to support historical cost data collection and analysis
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or a combination of education (including trade schools) and professional experience.
- 5+ years experience in construction with 3+ years experience estimating mechanical systems (i.e., HVAC and Plumbing)

The MEP Systems Engineer will be responsible for the detailed design and implementation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and PV systems tailored for modular construction building systems. This role requires a deep understanding of MEP systems combined with practical experience in modular construction. You will collaborate closely with leadership, crossfunctional design and engineering teams to integrate all technical and user experience requirements into our designs to ensure optimal functionality, sustainability, and compliance with all regulations.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop integrated MEP systems for our new and existing designs including solar energy systems, including PV and ESS, optimized for prefabricated modular construction
- Ensure that solar and energy storage designs align with overall MEP system functionality and building energy requirements
- Lead the creation of comprehensive design documents, schematics, component material selections and system layouts, preferably using CAD and BIM software
- Provide technical leadership during the installation and commissioning phases to ensure systems meet design specifications and performance standards
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure functionality, efficiency, and safety of both MEP and PV installations
- Collaborate closely with installation teams to facilitate seamless and efficient factory and onsite implementation of design
- Engage in research and application of the latest technologies and practices in renewable energy and modular construction
- Work with program managers and other engineering disciplines to ensure holistic integration of all systems within Samara modular units
What We're Looking For
- Modular construction experience in factory builds, multi-mod, stackable and/or other hands on related experience.
- Licensed Electrician or Mechanical Contractor -and/or- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Systems Engineering, or a related field
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in one of the following: Mechanical, Electrical, Solar and/or Plumbing System design
- Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability practices relevant to MEP and renewable energy systems
- Proficiency in design software such as Onshape, Revit, and/or other BIM methodologies preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt designs to changing technological and regulatory landscapes
- Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of driving project decisions and managing complex stakeholder relationships
- Ability to travel to our factory in Mexico up to 25-40%.

The Role We Want You For
We are looking for an experienced Procore Support Engineer to join our team based in St. Louis, MO. The Procore Support Engineer plays a key role in supporting the launch, maintenance, and ongoing operational consistency of Procore across the enterprise. This position is part of a centralized Procore Support Team responsible for managing multiple Procore instances to support the Clayco enterprise, ensuring seamless administration, user support, and alignment with enterprise processes and standards.
The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and experienced in Procore, and more generally, construction technology systems. They will work closely with project teams, internal stakeholders, and system administrators to ensure Procore is effectively utilized, continuously improved, and fully supported across the organization.
The Specifics of The Role
- Provide day-to-day administration of Procore, including user permission maintenance, tool configuration, integration variance reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Support end users through ticket resolution, technical and process guidance, and escalation management.
- Monitor system performance, oversee maintenance cycles, and coordinate with Procore support as needed.
- Assist with updates, new feature evaluation, maintenance releases, and rollout planning.
- Employ process standardization through tool configuration, ensuring consistent Procore usage enterprise-wide that support Clayco SOPs.

As a Construction Claims Coordinator with SERVPRO, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service is provided to all customers, insurance partners, and internal teams. In this role, you will manage a wide range of administrative and communication functions that support the insurance claims process from start to finish. This position will work heavily within carrier portals, documentation systems, and in close partnership with Estimators, Project Managers, and Insurance Adjusters.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Construction Claims Coordinator, you will oversee essential file management and claims communication functions that keep insurance-related projects accurate, compliant, and moving forward efficiently.
In this role you will:
- Manage all claims documentation, uploading and organizing required photos, estimates, invoices, and notes.
- Work heavily within insurance carrier portals (XactAnalysis) to update job status and submit required documents.
- Manage mortgage company authorization regarding ACV and depreciation.
- Create PO's and work within our construction software to manage payments and expenses.
- Communicate professionally with insurance adjusters regarding approvals, supplements, missing information, and claim status.
- Assist Estimators and Project Managers by ensuring job files are complete and meet carrier guidelines.
- Track claim progress, approvals, payments, and outstanding items to keep files moving efficiently.
- Provide homeowners with timely updates on claim status, required documents, and next steps.
- Coordinate re-inspections, supplemental requests, and additional documentation between field teams and adjusters.
- Maintain accurate digital file organization for all mitigation and reconstruction claims.
- Support internal reporting and compliance requirements related to carrier scores, timelines, and file accuracy.

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
(Some overtime may be required)
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in insurance claims, restoration, construction administration, or related office support.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Comfortable learning multiple software platforms and carrier portals.
- Strong customer service skills and professional phone/email presence.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with restoration software (Xactimate, PSA/CAM, BuilderTrend, Company Cam, etc.).
- Prior work in insurance, claims management, construction coordination, or mitigation/reconstruction support.
- Familiarity with insurance carrier requirements, SLAs, and documentation standards.
- Understanding of restoration industry workflows is a plus.

The Mechanical Preconstruction Manager will participate in all aspects of the preconstruction process for mechanical systems to develop accurate, detailed cost estimates, often based on conceptual or schematic designs with a focus on heavy/ advanced manufacturing, industrial and mission critical projects. This role is expected to interact with engineers, architects, consultants, owner’s representatives, subcontractors, suppliers, a multi-discipline estimating team, senior management, project supervision, and field personnel.
The Specifics of the Role
- Responsible for the collection and distribution of bid documentation relative to RFPs, and solicitation for bid requests using online platform (Autodesk Building Connected).
- Assist in gathering information to complete Bid Qualification and Criteria requirements.
- Attend pre-bid meetings to become familiar with unique project requirements and analyze existing site conditions to determine required scope that is not already indicated.
- Review and interpret project documents to determine job-specific material, equipment, and labor requirements for scope development.
- Prepare written scopes of work for subcontracts and suppliers and coordinate mechanical scopes with the work of other trades (e.g., civil, structural, architectural, electrical, etc.).
- Participate in pre-proposal design coordination meetings to support the development of pricing documents for conceptual estimates.
- Perform constructability analysis of project documents. Communicate design and constructability issues to the project team, while identifying risk elements and appropriate mitigation measures.
- Provide viable design alternatives and value engineering propositions with analysis supporting benefits to initial and life cycle cost, schedule, maintenance, etc.
- Perform quantity survey of mechanical systems and components using digitized software, and apply industry standard labor rates (e.g., MCAA, PHCC, etc.) to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Evaluate vendor and subcontractor for conformance with proposal requirements; level scopes and identify low cost/ best value responses while capturing assumptions, rationale, inclusions, exclusions, etc.
- Prepare estimates used for bidding and budgeting purposes (including self-performed work); participate in internal estimate review process and assist with final recap of estimate for presentation to senior management.
- Support project management tasks, including budgeting, schedule development, interim design review, change order pricing, procurement, value engineering, and vendor selection based on proposal development.
- Coordinate with project teams to evaluate productivity for historical data and schedule/ cost forecasting purposes.
- Maintain and improve supplier and subcontractor database utilizing the company’s prequalification program.
- Supervise junior estimators, estimating assistants and/or Interns, providing training and support in a mentoring capacity and review work products for quality control.
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of estimating software material cost databases to ensure accurate costs are consistently utilized on bids; communicate data on construction and material cost trends affecting project costs to project teams.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in departmental processes, approach, and execution of estimating and preconstruction functions; assist in creating or adopting new tools to maximize productivity with the lowest attendant value of acceptable risk.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or other Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or related field, or a combination of education (including trade schools) and professional experience.
- 5-10 years of experience in preconstruction/estimating with a focus on mechanical systems (i.e., Fire Protection, HVAC, Plumbing, Piping).
- Exhibits inclusive leadership and teamwork behavior, and values diverse perspectives from team members.
- Demonstrated experience in the successful management of bidding process for conceptual estimates with a preferred emphasis on heavy/ advanced manufacturing, industrial and mission critical markets.
- Working knowledge of codes and standards applicable to the design and installation of mechanical systems.
- Working knowledge of construction contract language and terms in addition to various contractual delivery methods (e.g., negotiated, hard bid, design assist, GMP, etc.)
- Possesses strong technical writing, math and computer skills with proficiency using standard office software applications such as Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to support estimating efforts.
- Proficiency using estimating software with a preference for Trimble products.
