Job Title: Maintenance / Mechanical Plant Engineer
Location: Owensboro, KY
The Maintenance Plant Engineer position is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of projects at the facility to ensure the projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Lead preventive/predictive maintenance activities to ensure safe and reliable equipment operation in the most cost-effective manner.
- Support various plant operations and maintenance groups with engineering-based troubleshooting, problem analysis, and resolution.
- Maintain and support continuous improvement of maintenance activities for unit and equipment outages.
- Complete reports on unit performance and outages as required. Must be able to conduct work activities regarding environmental rules and regulations and regularly review assignments to assure optimum efficiency.
- Develop, negotiate, and implement contracts with contractors, vendors, engineering firms, and others as required to support plant operations and maintenance activities.
Key Must Have’s:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or an alternate combination of education and experience, which results in equivalent job knowledge.
- Thorough knowledge of utility power generation with thorough knowledge of plant maintenance procedures, project management, and plant performance.
- Must be able to independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria using judgment in identifying and implementing enhancements, adaptations, and modifications to existing and/or new equipment in a power plant environment.

The project is performed on cars with 360 cameras mounted on top that image the area around the vehicle and store those images on computers inside the vehicle. Later, this data will be used to enhance one the most popular online maps in the world.
The data collectors will be given specific routes around public streets and areas, specifically targeting commercial districts and historical sites. Due to poor weather conditions some areas will be visited multiple times in order to collect the best quality of imaging. The project is expected to last from 3 to 6 months and will cover different data collection areas.
The ideal candidate enjoys driving, knows well the area, traffic trends, is highly responsible and reliable.
The schedule expected on the project is Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day 40 hours per week. Due to weather downtime, work on weekends is possible.

A Depot Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the operations and management of a depot dedicated to autonomous vehicles. To play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe deployment of AVs for testing purposes. This position requires a broad level understanding of AV technology, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate and manage a diverse team of drivers and support staff.
Eligibility- High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred
- 3 or more years operations experience in leading teams.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the depot, ensuring that it is well-maintained, equipped with necessary resources, and compliant with safety regulations and protocols.
- Lead a team of depot operators and support staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth operations and adherence to testing procedures.
- Ensure accurate data collection during testing activities, maintaining detailed records of AV performance, incidents, and maintenance logs. Generate reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring that all testing activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Maintain an inventory of AV testing equipment, tools, and spare parts. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure adequate stock levels for uninterrupted testing operations.

Position Summary:
Short term assignment located in the Curtis Bay, Maryland area.
Assignment start date ASAP to prepare for May 2026 shut down.
This role will travel to work site in Curtis Bay area to assist with coordination of operations and maintenance to prepare for upcoming shutdown.
Responsibilities:
Work with Maintenance, Operations, Turnaround Event Team Leader, Turnaround Team, General Contractor and other diverse groups to ensure all phases of the turnaround life cycle are managed in compliance with both Turnaround Management Process (TMP) and Project Management best practices.
Manage all aspects of planning, scheduling and execution of assigned capital and expense projects.
Drive implementation of a best practice Cost Breakdown Structure. Monitor actual vs. budget.
Drive implementation of a best practice Work Breakdown Structure.
Monitor progress in all TMP phases vs. milestones.
Develop project overview presentations for site and senior leadership.
Act as the bridge to upper management by reporting regularly on the progress versus milestones, schedule and cost.
Define and challenge critical path for opportunities to reduce duration and cost.
Develop contingency plans to minimize risk and uncertainty.
Ensure construction resources for engineering and expense projects are deconflicted.
Participate in and conduct scope and project reviews for assigned projects to identify issues/risks that could negatively impact cost and duration and manage development of mitigation plans.
Drive processes to manage scope change and discovery work.
Implement project workflow utilizing both internal and external resources to allow efficient execution of all work assigned, inclusive of both capital and expense work.
Meet all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including safety and environmental compliance.
The position reports directly to the Site Director and worlds directly with the Sr. Maintenance Manager, Turnaround Team Leader, Turnaround Team and General Contractor.
