What You'll Do:
The Behavioral Health Technician fulfills the assigned role as part of the treatment team to maintain the wellbeing of clients and the integrity of the program. Additionally, the Behavioral Health Technician provides client supervision and staff/unit support as assigned. This position reports to the Director of Operations.
Behavioral Health Technician Major Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:
Client Interaction & Support:
- Develop and maintain professional, supportive relationships with clients and staff.
- Provide emotional support, encouragement, and guidance to clients and their families.
- Support clients' comfort and safety in the residential environment.
- Listen attentively, document client behavior, and report observations to clinical staff.
- Maintain strict client confidentiality at all times.
Clinical & Administrative Tasks:
- Collect and supervise urine analysis (U/A) testing, ensuring proper reporting, documentation in the EMR, and disposal of samples.
- Observe self-administration of medication and document thoroughly.
- Document all medications in the hardcopy Centrally Stored Medication Log and the EMR.
- Complete intake assessments and consents with clients.
- Conduct patient rounds every 30 minutes.
- Complete vital signs (blood pressure, oxygen saturation, temperature, pulse, respiration).
- Complete contraband searches and random room searches.
Group & Activity Facilitation:
- Facilitate groups, outings, and educational sessions.
- Transport clients to meetings and appointments.
Team Collaboration & Communication:
- Provide crisis intervention and promote a healthy residential and working environment.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and ethical standards.

Percent time:
Positions range from 11% for summer sessions appointments and 16.5% and up for one or two semesters.
Anticipated start:

Position description
The Department of Architecture at UC Berkeley invites applications for a pool of qualified lecturers and lecturers in lieu of GSIs to teach non-studio courses in the following areas: Architectural History and Theory, Building Science, Structures, and Construction, should an opening arise. Screening of applicants is ongoing and will continue as needed. The number of positions varies from semester to semester (fall, spring, and summer), depending upon the needs of the Architecture department.
General Duties: In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties include holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus), and using Cal's electronic resources for course management.

- Operate Point of Sale (POS) cash registers, receiving money and returning proper change
- Prepare everything from double bacon cheeseburgers to ice cold soft drinks to delectable funnel cake sundaes and more.
- Fill condiment dispensers, wipe down tables, wash dishes, and keep all areas clean and safe for guests
Pay Rate: $11.50/hr.

Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated, high-capacity Class A CDL Driver for local sand hauling operations. This position is designed for a "pro-miler" who thrives on a 70-hour work week and early morning starts. You will be responsible for transporting sand from local pits to various construction sites and plants, ensuring timely deliveries and safe operation.
Compensation & Schedule
* Pay Structure: 25% of the gross haul rate per load (High earning potential for efficient drivers).
* Shift Start: 4:00 AM daily.
* Work Volume: Consistent 70-hour work week (Requires 6 days/Saturday availability).
* Home Life: Local routes only; home every day.
Key Responsibilities
* Load Maximization: Safely operate a Class A tractor with an end dump trailer, ensuring legal weight limits are met to maximize load percentage.
* Navigation & Timing: Efficiently navigate local routes to beat traffic and minimize "deadhead" time between the pit and the drop site.
* Equipment Care: Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, specifically monitoring hydraulic systems, tailgate seals, and liner integrity.
* Safety Compliance: Maintain a digital or manual logbook in strict accordance with DOT 70-hour/8-day regulations.
* Site Coordination: Communicate effectively with loaders and site foremen to ensure quick turnaround times.
Qualifications
* License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
* Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of Class A experience (End dump or aggregate experience preferred).
* Endorsements: Tanker endorsement is a plus but not required.
* Physical Stamina: Ability to handle 11-12 hour shifts and early morning starts.
* Clean Record: Acceptable MVR and FMCSA Clearinghouse status.
